Rip Van Winkle Gardens comprises several cottages, Cafe Jefferson, and the Joseph Jefferson Mansion. The venue can be used for functions such as receptions and banquets. Wedding services include rehearsal dinner, bridal luncheon, reception, and a night stay at the Acadian style bed and breakfast cottages. The 1870 Joseph Jefferson Mansion in the garden is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and comprises a twenty-two room Southern mansion, with a fourth-story cupola. It features period paintings, rare Louisiana pieces, and heirlooms while American and French Empire furniture forms the centerpiece of the garden. Garden and mansion tours are conducted for a fee. The gardens are located in New Iberia, Louisiana. All major credit cards are accepted.
