Provided by YP.comAfter moving to my house in western Nassau County, I realized that I needed a mini-split to handle the temperature changes in the front "sun room." Toward that end, I gathered referrals for possible contractors, and in the end we received proposals from three contractors. TeleTemp had the most clear and thorough proposal, and provided better equipment at the same price compared to the other two proposals.
I chose to work with them, and TeleTemp performed well from start to finish: the installation was performed by a friendly crew and they made sure everything was well-sealed, attractive, and of course, operational. During the installation, they asked the right questions about positioning, and a few other options, and followed my requests accurately.
The follow-up after the installation was also good: I received an invoice with the right information on it in order to receive a PSEG rebate, and they also registered the installation with the manufacturer (Fujitsu) so that I got the manufacturer's full 12 year warrantee, because TeleTemp is on Fujitsu's Elite Contractor list.
I recommend them whole-heartedly for their quality of product delivered, and their quality of service. I understand that a few years ago they had problems with under-staffing in the main office which led to scheduling and logistic problems, but that appears to be well-taken-care-of at this time, as they have several effective individuals in the office who take care of requests for information in a timely manner. The owner is also new, and apparently he is the one who has made sure the logistics are now being handled well.

Provided by YP.comOur air conditioning broke and we had an appointment for it to be repaired. When no one showed up within the time frame, we called just to be told it'll be another hour or two because of a job that ran late. Then after two more hours, they called to tell us they had to reschedule and we'd be the first appointment. That day came and we were called that they had to reschedule again because the tech called in sick. Needless to say we did not use them. I was very disappointed and thought it was extremely unprofessional.

Provided by YP.comOn July 7th 2009, I signed a proposal agreement with Teletemp cooling corp to install central air conditioning in my business, Triomph wellness and fitness located at 540 president street. The total cost for the entire job was $19,200 The contract stated that 50% of the cost, or $9600, was due upon signing of the agreement, with another 25% when the equipment was on the location of the job, and the final balance when the job was completed. On July 10th 2009, I paid the $9600 amount as stipulated.
About a week later, I contacted Joe Lushe of Teletemp cooling corp to inform him that I was no longer interested in utilizing his company's service, hence I requested a refund. Though the contract I signed had no refund charge, at the time, I was willing to allow him to keep a tiny percentage of the amount paid as a fee for his troubles, as I was no longer interested in utilizing his service. Mr. Lushe refused to give a refund, even though he had no refund policy in the contract I signed, stating that he would do the job when I am ready. I stated that I do not want the job done and merely wanted a refund. For the last 4 years, I have called several times, year after year to try and get my refund in an attempt to avoid legal action. Mr Lushe then claimed that he had used the $9600 to purchase the air conditioning unit he was to install, and if I could pick it up I could try and sell it myself.
To verify his claim, I consulted an expert in Mr. Lushe's industry. I was notified by the expert that mr Lushe's claims were false, as the actual cost of the model TTA120A300A unit he was to install was no where near the $9600 amount I had paid as a down payment to Teletemp. The expert even called Mr. Lushe on my behalf to encourage him to do the right thing and give a refund. Mr. Lushe still refused.

Provided by YP.comI had awful experience with this company.
I gave the a month to install wall unit. They came to measure it, took photos and was waiting two weeks for installation during which i had to call them to check on the progress. Of course the immediately took my deposit money. Finally, they showed up (last day of my time frame request) and the unit was huge and of course it was impossible to install it.
It's 6 weeks later and I'm moving on with installation to different company as after that fiasco nobody from Teletemp called me to fix the situation.
I had to call them to get my deposit back and was told it's impossible. Now i have to dispute with my bank and might have to take this to court. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time choosing other company
