I picked up a BMW for cheap. I wanted it repaired fully, and gave it to them.



The issues:

-Valve cover gasket needed replacement.

-Vacuum leak present, I was told it could be intake hoses, 02 sensor, maybe even the crankcase.

-Struts and shocks in the rear needed to be replaced.

-Ignition coil replacement.



I was told it would be difficult to source parts, which is understandable. I gave the OK to find the parts and let me know when we could get started.



THEN CAME THE 1 MONTH WAIT.



I tried calling back the first 2 weeks every few days, only to be rebuffed with excuses about how they were uncertain where the vacuum leak was coming from.



First it was, "We need nitrogen to do it, we're out. It'll be in tomorrow." 3 days later, "Oh, we still need to get it."

Next day: "Our mechanic will pick it up tomorrow morning."



I was patient and never lost my cool. Said my pleases and thank you's, never got confrontational.



2 weeks go by with no word from them. I would call back, get put on hold, and hung up on.

I finally decide to go get the car, only to find out that ignition coil, 02 sensor, and intake hoses were done.

Struts were untouched, valve cover still leaking oil.



To top it off, the check engine light that wasn't on is now lit. Cool.



I understand if parts are difficult to find, but really? 3-4 weeks? Wouldn't it be better to just give me back my car and take it elsewhere?

They are very friendly and honest people! Prices are amazing!! Best and fastest service I have ever had!
