I am a long-time customer at the Crown Street location, and have always experienced excellent service, particularly from the Manager, Joe.

It's a fantastic community gem, in a downtown location for grad students of Yale. Enterprise on Crown charges less than half the price of the other rental companies. Furthermore one-way return to Tweed is free. Local staff is friendly, hardworking, willing to bend-over backwards on details and flexible arrangements (such as after-hours return) which are otherwise impossible to make in online-bookings at nationwide website. Local staffers are young, in-training, paper details not a strong point initially, but they are willing to learn with senior/upper managers there to smooth out kinks.

I needed to rent a car recently while my car was being repaired due to an accident. I used the New Haven and Hamden locations because of where I live and where the car was being repaired. In every encounter I had with an Enterprise service person they were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was picked up at my house and was able to drop off my car near my repair shop and then be driven to there. We rented a Challenger and had a good time with it during the (11) days it took for my car repair...unfortunately for me, my wife now wants to buy one.

My wife and I live in torrington and we rather drive to new haven and rent a car from crown st enterprise that any were else, the staff and managers are very on top of what they do and we never have to wait, they always get us going as soon we call and tell them we need a rental.
