I just had this insert installed. Not only where these guys super helpful in getting my chimney up and running but they also did an excellent job on educating me about my new fireplace insert. I feel safe and confident using this fireplace. I would recommend these guys to anyone. These guys turned something that could have ended up being a total nightmare into a wonderful and pleasant experience and I am 100% satisfied and so excited to have this in my home. They will be the only one servicing my fireplace and chimney for years to come.

We moved into our new house, and needed our fireplace converted from wood-burning to gas. After locating the gas line, Urs and Ryan installed the ceramic logs and hooked everything up. They explained everything in detail, so we'd know how to care for it and what to expect. They worked quickly, professionally, and cleaned everything up when they finished. We now have a beautiful gas fireplace in time for the holidays. We would recommend this company to anyone needing fireplace/chimney work, and look forward to using them in the future.

BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER.called him out to do a chimney inspection and cleaning was told previous owner had blocked off the chimney with wood in my freestanding fireplace and he would have to cut into the side to see how it was done and remove it and thousands to repair.called out another company and was told the fireplace had never been used more than a dozen times and he could not in good conscience even charge me to clean it.will provide pictures and my name and email if you want proof

Urs and his team did a great job repairing my chimney. They were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all of the problems I was having, along with all of the repair work that they did. They were punctual and keep me informed throughout their time at my house repairing a flashing and crown. They even offered to come out the next day, if my problem persisted and followed up with a courtesy call. I will be using them for any future chimney repairs and would recommend them to everyone!

Great Service. Did a great job with repairs to our chimney. Cleaned it aswell. Also had some additional masonry work completed. Everything was completed timely amd the work was excellent! Highly recommend.

I just had cleaning, three caps, inside masonry to the fireplace done, and a new crown of cement placed. The father and son duo were so kind to attend to these services within the same appointment after cleaning and inspection. They are coming back in the Spring to replace mortar on the chimney. An honest, knowledgeable, and very polite team!

Never, ever, would I have this man and his son do work for me again. He did work that he wasn't supposed to do and charged us for it. He refused to take credit card even though his ad said he did. He actually laughingly asked, "Are you ready for this?", when he told me the bill, which was not close to what he quoted. I had another masonry person come out this week to do some work to our chimney. He did a great job compared to this buffoon. The man asked about the work that was done prior (by A.A.S). He said that it was of poor quality. He noted that the creosote at the top of the chimney was obviously aged prior and had formed cracks. Instead of removing the creosote and reapplying, which is what should have been done, this shyster and his son simply put new creosote over top. I was warned to keep and eye on it every year because it will not last nearly as long as it should have. My warning to anyone else to run away from this man.

Work was done by the owner and his son. Very respectable and friendly. All work was explained to me. He was on time and was able to work me in the schedule for the week when I was off. They were very clean and I would recommend them to neighbors and friends.

Did some price comparison shopping for service we needed to have done, and AAS was much less expensive than competitors. The owner himself does the work, and is friendly, courteous, and was sweet with my young children. He competed the work very quickly and professionally, and pointed out several repairs I could do myself rather than trying to get me to pay him for the labor. Overall very pleased with his service!

Excellent work done by the owner himself. Previous two companies that came out were unable to correct the problem that A.A.S. Service Inc. was able to fix in less than an hour. Definitely recommend, great business and friendly service.

This is the second time that we have contacted A.A.S. Service Inc. Both times he has done amazing work. Very professional, courteous and reasonable. We didnt feel like he was trying to sell us something that we did not need. The second call was due to a part failing and he repsonded the next day and took care of the part that was under warranty. HIs labor costs are very resonable. For all of our chimney needs we will be contacting him. Thank you for your service.

Saw an ad for a chimney cleaning for $60. Called him out and he couldn't make the first appointment on time even with four hour window. Rescheduled and he came out and said that it didn't need cleaned it needed some insanely expensive treatment and new chimney cap. To make matters worse he still insisted that we pay $63 without him ever have going on the roof or taking out any cleaning equipment. Total rip off.
