So first, let me explain my situation. I purchased a new car roughly 2 years ago, I made a little mistake and should've got something with a little more power. I live in Tavistock, but decided to take a trip down to Castle Motors with my friend which was about a 1 hour and 20 minute drive. It's important to know that I'm 18 years old and have my own business, but I won't get into detail with that. I arrived and immediately fell in love with the Abarth 595. I asked them about the history of the Abarth and here's where it all wen't down hill... He said to me "I'm not too sure, I think it's got 1 owner, roughly 30,000 on the clock", Immediately I could tell he wasn't interested in anything I had to say. I then made it clear that I wanted to do a potential part X against the Abarth with mine and i told him that the 64 plate car was mine and i asked politely if he could value and do an inspection. He said ok and didn't even ask for the keys... let me say that again.. he didn't even ask for the keys. He gave me the keys to the Abarth while he inspected my car and handed them back to me after about 5 minute. He said "visually the car is fine." He then took out his phone and looked on Autotrader at what Renault Clio's are currently selling for... something I had already done before even having the slightest thought about buying a new car. I was socked to put it lightly that they wouldn't give me an official part exchange value, they didn't even check the inside of the car!! Despite everything that had gone on, I asked the sales-man if I could go on a test drive. Bearing in mind, like I say, I really couldn't have made it more clear that I was interested in the car, and that I was financially stable enough to afford the Abarth. He then said to me "We'd only let you test drive it, if you were prepared to make a deal right now." I really didn't know what to say after that. Now, could it be the fact that two teenagers turned up? Would the situation have been different if I'd have bought my dad with me? Either way, i'm absolutely appalled at the service. The staff at Castle Motors have clearly been stereotyping majorly as me and my friend walk round the showroom. I now know that are truly only after you for your money, and If they think you can't afford something they won't show you the slighted bit of interest. I left my house with the intention of potentially putting a deposit on a new car, Castle Motors lost out on a sale. Simple as.

Sir, I think you have New Castle Motors confused with Castle Motors down the street. We do not have nor never have had a Abarth 595 in our inventory. I am sorry that you didn't have a pleasurable car shopping experience and next time you are in the market for a vehicle, you can give New Castle Motors a try.

DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS "CAR DEALERSHIP"!!! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE. I decided to take the time out to warn everyone about New Castle Motors. I have no clue what so ever how these crooks are still in business. First and foremost, this "dealership" does not give the customer the right to pick out their own vehicle that they were initially interested in. They pick the vehicles for their customers (not knowing what you like or dislike nor do they care) which is an absolute turn-off upfront. They're all about fast talking to get money, which will get them nowhere and has gotten them absolutely nowhere in MY case, except for owing me my a full down payment back as well as court cost. New Castle Motors Manager Shemika Freeland has lost in court not once, but TWICE due to her malicious ways. New Castle Motors vehicles are overpriced and have extremely high mileage. (They even use the vehicles on the lot for their personal use) AS WELL AS DRIVING THEM TO COURT & TO DO ILLEGAL REPOSSESSIONS. LOL!!! No wonder they all have high mileage. My daughter is a college student and received a good amount of money that she wanted to use as a down payment for a car. I decided to reward her with a new car with me as the buyer. We went to New Castle Motors and I was going to trade a car (that is in my Husband and Daughter's name). Their salesman Joe Castillo and "Manager" (who is doing a terrible job managing) Shemika Freeland told me they ran my credit and could not sell me a vehicle because my trade-in is already in my name. FIRST LIE! My trade-in is in my Husband & Daughter's name. Obviously someone just did not want to sell me a vehicle from the beginning. I ended up agreeing on a 2010 Dodge Caliber and signed a $13,000 contract. After taking the vehicle home New Castle Motors then wanted to sign a new contract for $20,000 and 22% APR. Joe refused to let me take the car through inspection on my own. I believe he wanted me to assume someone else’s car loan. Once I did not agree the salesman and manager became upset and refused to return my down payment. They’ve sent several repo men out for the vehicle and even disabled the vehicle from starting two weeks after I bought it home. After filing a claim on these scam artist for a return of my down payment, Shemika then went to another county two days after receiving my petition and decided to file for a replevin, the judge saw right through her, dismissed her case and sent her back to New Castle county to hear the original case. During the original case, I was rewarded a full return of my $2,000 down payment and I am currently waiting for New Castle Motors to return it in full as well as court filing fees. The manager handles herself terribly in court and the salesman came to court and lied under oath. The case was dismissed in it's entirety on their behalf. If New Castle Motors fails return my down payment on time, I will proceed with further legal actions. I will now be extremely careful of the businesses that I trust. This is what happens when you try do business with unprofessional and untrustworthy people. I would have never entertained New Castle Motors had I read their online reviews before taking my daughter there to look for a car. I have yet to see one good review for them and I see why. I am ready to move on from this situation and I am now waiting for a return of my $2,000 down payment as well as court filing fee's (as order by the court) to get my daughter the car that she wants and deserves. I really hope no one else falls into the trap of New Castle Motor's, I’m glad I caught on before it went any further. I hope they find a new way of conducting business because they are a big JOKE!

Never Ever Go Here! If I Could Give Negative Stars I Would!!!!

Just suck it up and save your money. Go to a dealership. In their contract it says that you cant drive your car outside a 100 mile radius from their office. They have disrespectful people in there that only care about MONEY, MONEY AND MORE MONEY! I've had nothing but troubles with my car and them. Once you get close to paying your car off, if it hasn't broken down by then, they will find ways to get you to pay more. I have only a few hundred left to pay and I will do everything in my power to pay them off this month so I can finally get away from them. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I EVER DEALT WITH IN LIFE. Do not sign into anything with this company. Even if you are desperate, DO NOT DO IT!!!!

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

They are the worst place to buy a vehicle. They sold me a car where ignition was punched. No heat in the car. I have get everything fixed thru the warranty which cost me 1500$ with hundred dollar deductible. So they wouldn't have to do it. They tell they drive the cars all the time...Lie. Please go anywhere else but here. The worst dealer ever. 4/04/14. I wish you could give no stars that still would be generous

New castle motors a scam !

They talked my wife into purchasing a 2006 G6 stating all she had to do was make a down payment of a thousands dollars also trade in her old car. Once she signed and completed the process , they later contacted us and said she'll have to come back down there with one more pay stub and bank statements plus $1,200. After we agreed and later told the dealer my wife found a better job and quit her last one , he tried to embarrass her in front of customers took the car back and plus $800 extra unlawfully out of her account and never returned the down payment. We are currently in a lawsuit with new castle motors and salesman Barry Crawford , they treat customers like trash and scam people out of money.

Worse car dealer in Delaware t...

Worse car dealer in Delaware their cars are trash and they try to put high prices on them. I am so glad we seen right through them. The car we were going to purchase was a 2008 Impala. This car had a scuff on the bumper not a small one but a big one. The tail light was broken on the same side, and it has scratches . When we got a closer look, we said no. The salesman tried to get me to commit to put money for them to hold. I explain I was not making any committment with out my husbands input, but he really tried. We I walked out with all my money and talked to my husband.. Glad we were smart enought not to pay money for TRASHY CARS

I bought a car from here and I...

I bought a car from here and I am a MD resident. They charged me almost 300 dollars in tax and 56.00 for title and tags. As Im waiting for the call they said I would get to pick up my tags, I called them to check the status and they told me that I had to go to the MVA to run my car through inspection in order to get my tags. I went to the MVA only to find out that they dont do inspections. I have to take my vehicle to a certified car dealer that does the state inspections. I made an appointment and by the time the dealer could fit me in, my temp tags are already expired. Then I learn that I have to pay $75.00 for the inspection pass or fail. I do not feel that this should be my responsibility. This should be included in the purchase of the car and the responsibility of the dealer. When I called and my other half called to question why this was never told to us and why we were told we would get a call to pick up our tags, our salesman was rude and not helpful in this situation. He said he was sure to tell all of his MD customers to take the car through inspection when they buy the vehicle at their own expense. IF this were true, why was I told to go to the MVA if they dont even do the inspections!!!!! And that was after I called them to check on my tags. We felt like we were being called liars in the fact that we were never told this silly detail that could have been resolved. Also to add to my frustration, we were happy with the service when we bought our car with $500.00 down, we needed a second vehicle and wanted to go back to the same guy who had helped us in our time of need before. Only to be turned down and told that he woulnt help us until we paid at least half of what we owe on the current car (more than $3000.00 is half) and also to have half down on a vehicle. That only contradicts his prior sale to us cause we didn't have half down then. Even with the good payment history. We just took our money elsewhere and got the exceptional service that we deserved with way less money down.

Would not recommend

I bought a car from here and am going to end up paying way more than expected, they dont explain the paperwork correctly and they do that to get your signature. They take advantage of those with bad credit and low income and they treat you like your not good enough after they get that signature on paper. I was offended by this company and would not recommend this place to ANYONE!! They need to be more reasonable with the prices on vehicles. I am paid way too much.
