1300 Church Hill Dr, New Braunfels, TX 78130
New Braunfels was founded March 21, 1845 by Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels. The city's first residents were three shiploads of 436 people. The prince chose this place because of Comal Springs, third-largest in the United States. Tours begin at Conservation Plaza and include a rose conservatory, a one-room school, a general store, a music studio, a saloon, a two-story pioneer house, a cabinetmaker's shop and house, and log cabins.
