Craven Regional Medical Center provides health care services to residents of coastal North Carolina. With more than 300 beds, the full-service facility offers a full compliment of traditional medical services. In addition to comfortable medical and surgical areas, the medical center has dedicated units for neurosurgical, intensive and intermediate care, women's, pediatric, cardiac, home and cancer care, outpatient services, a coastal rehabilitation center, a primary care facility and mental health and emergency services. The staff of more than 200 physicians is proficient in nearly every specialty and more than 1,500 medical and support personnel contribute to the care of approximately 15,000 patients each year. The hospital has been operating for more than 40 years.
