In may we purchased some fire proof filing cabinets from here. When they arrived they all smelled very musty inside. We haven't filed anything in them yet because we have been trying to get the odor out. We've now noticed that condensation is accumulating inside the drawers -- even puddling in some cases and mold has formed. When I reached out to the rep. that I worked with at Michalsen his response was to tell me to buy some Desiccant cans and clean the mold with bleach and suggested that we must have them in damp areas. We DO NOT have them in damp areas, they are in an office building. He then also suggested that we could trade them in for other ones and that he would "give me more in trade than he normally would". I asked him for an even trade to which he refused. We are not at all satisfied with the purchase and would not do business with Michalsen again. I am used to much better service from our typical business vendors.

This place is GREAT!!! Quality, value, expertise, and dependable professionalism is what you get from Michalsen Office Furniture. As our small business has expanded, we've used Michalsen's repeatedly for every new employee's work station and cubicle. I think we've now purchased from Michalsen's 4 or 5 times, and we won't go anywhere else. They've helped me problem solve to find the right products. They've SAVED us so much money in comparison to buying new. There has always been products in the showroom that meet our needs. They've come out and installed things well and done so professionally. The products we've gotten have been durable and good-quality. I never take the time to write positive online reviews of businesses, but these guys are great.
