If this business has closed why are they still doing business. Cash only, No receipt. Tree is no longer symmetrical. The guy doesn't do what was promised. Leaves your tree uneven and in need of another trim. He does only what he,wants. He raised the price when he was halfway through to do the same job he quoted. My husband mistakenly gave him the new amount plus the 50.00 coupon and he didn't even have the decency to give him back the 50.00 that was overpaid. Will have to have it determined by someone else next spring. What a shame! We ended up paying him an extra 100.00 over his original estimate. This is not a reliable company. First they were coming on Friday morning then Tuesday afternoon at 5? Really? It gets dark at 7. Then they said Thursday morning and finally settled on Tuesday afternoon at 3. I had a bad feeling with all of the confusion but I needed to get my tree trimmed while the leaves were still on the tree. Very disappointing. If he would have raised the branch line evenly and with a smile I could have overlooked a lot of things. As it is the tree is lopsided and he was just fine with that.

I have been using this service for a few years, but the level of service has plummeted. First, the spring fertilization was done the last week of July. Second, it took over a month after approving a pruning quote for them to come out to do it. When they did, the city stopped them because they aren't licensed to work n Southfield. This happened over a week ago, but no one called me. I only learned they could not do the work until I called todayi to find out why it hadn't been done. Even then, they asked me to call them back after I spoke to the city.

I've been using these guys for several years for my firewood. I have shopped around and believe that this is your best source.



These guys/gals deliver an actual face cord of wood as opposed to some other companies. Some other companies do deliver an actual face cord, but they do charge more - remarkably more. Additionally, their wood seems to be seasoned better than all of the other companies I have tried.



Worth noting: I recently spoke with a sales rep from another company regarding firewood. He made borderline slanderous remarks regarding tri-county (seriously, I feel dirty inside later for even entertaining the guy) and gave me a price of $5 or so more per face cord. I decided to bite, as Tri-County will get sold out and I was looking for a less expensive alternative to my current backup supplier in that event. Long story short - they charged be $25 more as opposed to $5 more, while delivering far less than a face cord (about half a face cord in my estimation). I still fell angry and like I was taken advantage of. ...not cool.



Regardless, if you want firewood, these guys are the ones to call. They've been honest, prompt, and have delivered good material every time. I can't sing their praises enough.



I can't speak as to their trimming or cutting, but I will be able to in the next year or so because the next time I need my trees trimmed, I'll be calling them.

Very prompt and professional and they left the area very clean. My neighbors and I have used them before and they will always be the first person I call for tree removal.

I called on a Saturday morning. The lady who answered the phone was very nice & said that they only do estimates on Sat & Weds. But, the estimator would be out that evening & leave an estimate in the mailbox or door if we weren't home. So, we get home & there's no estimate...maybe it blew away???



Monday I called numerous times & always got an answering machine. I left a message & finally Tuesday I got a call back saying that apparently the estimator was mad at the owner for giving him so many estimates so he didn't do them all! How nice that he/she can pick and choose what jobs to do... Personally, I think the estimator needs an attitude adjustment & maybe needs to be fired so he/she can be thankful for the paying job that he/she lost!



Needless to say, I have two other companies coming out.

My mother lives on the westside of Detroit. Up until 20 minutes before they were to show Tri County was coming out to give her an estimate for tree removal. They called her and told her it was too far and they werent coming. Very unprofessional and in this economy I guess they are the only ones who can afford to refuse work. My mother is 2 minutes from Dearborn, so I guess anything past westside of Detroit they don't service you either!!!
