walked in with laceration to the left hand after watching the Nurse practitioner snapped a stich and blame it on the stitchery. make several attempts for each stich, pull one stitch all the way through, I finally received 5 stiches. the finger began to balloon up, it was the MA that suggested it was actively bleeding underneath, she removed (Kris) the five stiches and proceed to give me 3 inside stiches, more fumbling and hesitation, then once again proceeded to restich the 5 outside stiches (again). It is now 4 hours later I am in tremendous pain called for help knowing I would not be able to sleep and I was treated like a drug seeker. Was told that for lacerations they only suggest ice or Ibuprophen. As a Campus President of an Heath College I am Appalled and so are my health educators and a good example of how not to treat patients for my 700 students.
