Its stores encompass four concepts: Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie, Hollister Company and RUEHL. The company operates more than 350 Abercrombie & Fitch stores, more than 150 abercrombie stores, more than 300 Hollister stores and nearly 10 RUEHL stores. Most of its fashions are aimed at young adults between the ages of 18 and 22. Established in 1892, Abercrombie & Fitch is one of the most successful apparel stores in the United States. Its 2005 sales increased 38 percent from the previous year to more than $2.7 billion. In 2006, the company expected to increase gross square-footage by more than 10 percent by adding new stores.
