We joined for the pool, which is going to remained closed. We asked about progress for 3 months before I was informed that they would not be opening it due to cost of operation. My husband and I pay $79 per month with no classes added. This seemed incredibly high, but we decided being able to swim year around would be worth the expense. Spoke with Crystal this morning. She was immediately defensive and rather hostile towards me. I figured she would at least try to verify that her employees had never informed me that the pool might not ever be available for use, and attempt to compensate me in some way for outrageous membership fees. Rather, she basically called me a liar and refused to cancel our contract. She informed me that the gentleman who signed us up in the first place was new, so he couldn't be held accountable for the misinformation given to us when he accepted our money. She went on to say, that there was no way that other employees (on at least 3 separate occasions) told us similar stories. I didn't really expect to be let out of our contract, but I was appalled by the way I was treated (by the owner of the company) when presented with this information. I’m a business owner myself. You should be ashamed.
