My daughter, Scarlett, age 4, and I both took piano lessons at Big Beat and loved it. Michelle is an excellent instructor for adults and kids alike and is very patient. Moreover, the staff and owner are super friendly and professional. You can tell they care about the students and are passionate about doing a great job. My job schedule is hectic and always changing. They were very flexible in working with me, often fitting me in at the last minute to accommodate schedule changes.



My daughter was so excited to perform in the end-of-year recital but ended up in the hospital for three days and could not attend. Not only did I receive a call from the staff and owner to ask how she was doing, but Big Beat refunded 100% of the cost of the tickets and DVD without hesitation. Unfortunately, we moved out of state. We will be hard-pressed to find an equal to Big Beat. If you are considering music lessons in the area, Big Beat is definitely the place to go. I can't give them a high enough recommendation!

My Son Nicholas has been taking lessons at BigBeat for 6 years, the director Joe Nevolo took Nick when he was 4 years old, this is unusual as my son is naturally gifted but extremely challenging to teach and Joe was willing to take on the challenge.. Joe has so much patience and creates an atmosphere of fun and learning. We are very happy with Nicks progress to date, now he is 10 years old, he is reading writing and can play things that are beyond my comprehension.

This is testament to Mr Nevolo's talent and ability to teach, i highly recommend anyone looking for musical instruction to check this school out.

Friends, family, and I have all taken lessons at Big Beat over the years. The teaching staff is always phenomenal, especially Joe, who always makes lessons fun with his amazing studio filled with lights, bubbles, and screens. They have an annual showcase that includes great student and ensemble performances. Big Beat is a great professional and family environment!

My daughter has been taking drum lessons at Big Beat Music Studio for a little over 1 year now & I am very happy. My daughter has improved so much in a short period of time. Her teacher Joe Nevolo is the Best!! They recently had their annual music recital & I was so impressed by the talent of the students & also the teachers. It was great for the kids to see their teachers perform also. Her confidence has skyrocketed & she just started her own band. I highly recommend this studio for your child & also for any adult interested in learning an instrument.

I've been taking piano lessons at Big Beat for 2 years now. I was a little embarrassed about starting at the age of 20, but my teacher, Jerry, made me feel right at home. He combined what I was interested in learning with what he knew was important for me to learn to accomplish my goals. Jerry inspires me to try my best with the encouragement that I really need. I even performed in their showcase last December. I was REALLY nervous about playing piano in front of so many people, but now I feel more confident in my playing and much less afraid to perform.



I RECOMMEND BIG BEAT TO ANYONE interested in knowing more about playing an instrument. I refer everyone here! My little sister and boyfriend now take drum lessons with the director Joe (sort of a drum legend) and I have friends taking guitar, bass, and trumpet.
