I am not impressed. Wags and Whiskers calls themselves a "rescue." I contacted them about trying to find my dog a new home because I am no longer capable of providing adequate care. Wags and Whiskers posted an ad for my dog on petfinder.com, but that was pretty much the extent of their efforts in "rescuing." I was unable to get them on the phone and was only able to communicate with them via text message. Approximately two weeks later they stopped communicating with me all together. I noticed some time later that the ad for my dog had been taken down. I was left frustrated and in the dark. I feel as though my pet and I have been cheated by this pet rescue, not provided with the help they advertise. Please, if you know of a pet in need of a home, do not contact this rescue. Research other options, you and the dog in need will be better off in the long run.
