Our vet recommended Rainbow Pet for TPLO surgery for ACL repair. We were glad that we could get going on the surgery within a few days time. The pricing was affordable. Don't let the dated exam rooms fool you. The surgery area is up to date with the latest technology. We followed all the protocols for recovery and therapy after surgery. Our dog Nova is good as new. Our primary veterinarian recommended Rainbow Pet Care Center to repair a torn cruciate ligament for my 8-year-old dog Holly. Because of the complexity of the surgery, I was very concerned about the entire process. Dr. Giri explained the surgery at length and what I should expect during the recovery phase. What impressed me with the most is that when her surgery was scheduled, no other appointments were handled that day and the staff concentrated on my dog alone. Secondly, instead of using a cone to prohibit her from licking or biting her wound, a dog pajama was suggest for her to wear. Using the dog pajama was a much more comfortable choice. Recovery time was much quicker than expected. I would recommend Rainbow Pet Care Center for your pet’s health care. I couldn't be happier with her recovery and Dr Giri treated her as if she was his own.

Wanting our doodle puppy to have the least invasive spay possible, we opted for Laparoscopic Surgery by Doctor Giri at Rainbow Pet Care Center in Natrona Heights. Needless to say it was worth every penny and hour on the road as we live in Latrobe, PA. Our pup was good to go the day after surgery. Laparoscopic spaying is far less painful for a dog (just two small incisions) and recovery time is minimal. We also appreciated the follow up call by Doctor Giri to make sure our pup was doing well. Dr Giri and his staff are amazing. He walked us thru each procedure step by step and showed us what he would be doing, how he would do it and then the final outcome. so far our little princess Windy has had both her right and left luxated patella repaired. She is already doing much better and has handled it extremely well. His recovery process is amazing and encourages safe movement instead of kenneling them. His prices are more than reasonable and by far the best around.i am truly amazed and extremely happy with him and his practice. I have no complaints about anything and I am so happy my vet referred him to us. Thank you ❤️

Took our dog here for TPLO Repair Surgery. We are from the North Pittsburgh area and received quotes from other vets that ranged from $5,000 - 6,000. We found Rainbow Vet through the recommendation of our vet. Dr. Giri was very experienced with this surgery and took the time to explain every step to us. The staff was also very nice and helpful. Our dog Buffy is recovering very well and we expect her to be back to normal shortly. We couldn't be happier with our choice to take Buffy here.

I am writing on behalf of my dog Rosie and myself. I took her to Rainbow After she an ACL injury on her right rear leg. I can't say enough about the concern and care she recieved from Dr. Geri and staff. He explained the procedure to be done and what to expect after surgery. P.S. I had mentioned that I was scheduled to go to Myrtle Beach with my nephew and his family. Dr. Geri scheduled the surgery for a Saturday- a day they aren't usually open. He then came in on Sunday to release Rosie to go home. How many Vet Doctors would do that? Dr. Geri is very dedicated to what he does for people and their pets.

Took my dog here for TPLO ACL Repair Surgery. I'm from Pittsburgh and received several quotes from vets in the city that ranged from $5,000 - 6,000. Our 11 year old pitbull, Roxie, needed her 2nd tplo surgery and after doing much research, we found Rainbow Pet Care Center. Roxie had her 1st surgery on her left knee 3 years ago at another facility. Now she needed the surgery on her right knee. We were very nervous because of her age. Dr. Giri explained everything in detail and reassured us that it would be fine, and it was. It's been 2 weeks now and she is doing great. We are extremely pleased with the Dr., the staff and the state of the art facilities. I highly recommend Rainbow Pet Care to anyone needing tplo surgery or any other care for your "kids." ACL/ TLPO Butler PA

EXTRAORDINARY & EXCEPTIONAL CARE for ACL REPAIR / TPLO SURGERY. I live in Butler Pa. Days before Christmas, our beloved dog Hobbes suffered an injury to his leg. I was seen by our local vet in Butler, PA and our fears were confirmed. Hobbes would need surgery to repair the injury. I was referred to a nearby provider, just north in Allegheny County. I called to schedule an appointment and received an outlandish quote for surgery, which did not include the pre-surgical evaluation or follow up care.


I began to search for an affordable option, and came across Rainbow Pet Care Cemter. I was able to speak to Dr. Giri over the phone, and he provided me with an initial evaluation plan along with a reasonable quote. The quote included the costs for initial evaluation & post treatment care. During the initial appointment, Dr. Giri took time to address my concerns, and gave me a tour of the treatment facility. It was quite obvious that Hobbes was in good hands, and the facility was well equipped, clean and the staff was very friendly.

I am happy to report that Hobbes has now fully recovered from his injury. I would highly recommend Rainbow Pet Care Center to anyone needing veterinary care. Had we not come across Rainbow Animal Clinic and Dr. Giri, I am unsure if we would have been able to proceed with the surgery. Natrona Heights is an easy drive from Butler, and Dr. Giri and his staff were compassionate & caring.

Dr. Giri & staff at Rainbow Pet Care Center are absolutely amazing. From the first phone call, surgery, follow-up care & calls, they put me at ease dispute the absolute worry I was under w Pixie, my 7.5lb Dorkie being hit by a car. If you are in need of an Orthopedic Veterinarian, see Dr. Giri at Rainbow Pet Care Center! The service, care, & cost superceded all my expectations. To understand how incredible Dr. Giri & staff are I feel the whole picture is important. Pixie was hit by a car late on Sunday. I took her to Avets. She got stitches & x-rays..broken femur. If I did surgery that night, it would cost min $6000. I took her home, 1st thing Mon morning started calling Vets. One rehab center recommended Rainbow who has an Othropetic Veterinarian. I called Rainbow, left a message at 7am & they called me back before their opening start time. They were able to see Pixie that day for a consult. They also told me over the phone how much the operation would be (half the cost of Avets). Several other places didn't have openings nor would quote me a price. I met Dr. Giri. The first day, he talked me thru the next steps, showed me his operating room (which was very impressive!), waited while Avets emailed the x-rays (they sent the report but no images). Dr. Giri asked me to bring Pixie back the next day (Tues) for bloodwork and x-rays (included in the price of the surgery). He rescheduled some appointments so that Pixie could have surgery on Friday. The surgey went well. On Sat at 7PM, Dr. Giri called to give me an update. HE took Pixie to the bathroom & called me, on a Sat night! Talk about dedication to your customers! I picked Pixie up on Tue & took her back Friday for a check-up & so Dr. Giri could show me the x-rays w the pins in place. Pixie goes back in a week for additional x-rays & to remove the sutures/staples. Pixie is putting pressure on her bad leg which she didn't do pre-surgery. I truly feel blessed that I found Dr. Giri and Rainbow Pet Care Center!

Dr. Giri is very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to the care of your pets. Ariel had surgery and he called when it was done to let us know she was ok and after she came home he called personally to make sure she was doing well.

Dr Geri is a wonderful doctor. He is patient both with the animals and humans. He shows genuine love and concern for my dog. We have been taking our puppy to him for 12 years and she just LOVES him!! I would highly recommend this establishment. The staff is great also.

My boxer has been with Dr. Geri since she was a puppy 12 years ago. This is the only vet that she loves, and you can tell he loves her also. Dr. Geri literally just saved her during a surgery by doing CPR. He is a patience, caring, and very thorough doctor. The staff is wonderful also. I would highly recommend Rainbow Pet Care. I would rate him a 10 star if I could!!

Excellent vet and support staff! When one of our three dogs tore her ACL while playing, we were directed to Dr. Bimal P. Giri for his extensive surgical background. Our dog was seen by Dr. Giri immediately, he quickly assessed her injury and offered recommendations for various treatments. We determined that surgery was our dog's best option and we were very pleased with both the surgeon and his office personnel throughout our dog's recovery.

Dr. Giri is the most wonderful veterinarian! He is so trustworthy, competent, genuine, and courteous. My dog recently broke his leg and Dr. Giri came to the rescue. He is such a skilled surgeon! Not only was the care outstanding, but the cost was incredibly reasonable. Dr. Giri thoroughly explained every detail. My boy has had an amazing recovery thanks to Dr. Giri and his staff. I travel almost an hour to his office and do not think twice about. I want the best care for my fur kids and I will only have Dr. Giri as our veterinarian. He genuinely cares for animals and their humans too!

We recently had our lab here for a TPLO surgery. We didn’t have anyone close to us to perform this surgery, so while searching we found Dr Giri. Dr Giri and his team were very helpful with answering our questions, and were able to get our dog in sooner than most places for the surgery, which was important as we could tell our dog was in pain. They also were significant less in price, for the same surgery and same care! They didn’t charge me more because Gunther was over 80 pounds either. We had to travel and drove about an hour and half so it was important to me to find a vet where my dog would be in good hands. We go back for our checkup and xrays in a few days and I’ll report back - but since the surgery Gunther seems to be recovering well and we’ve had no problems. Dr Giri is always available to answer my questions. I highly recommend this vet, especially if you need the TPLO surgery for your large dog.

We are the loving owners of 2 beautiful cats. Since we think of our furry boys as part of the family, we only want the best for them. We recently adopted a very sick cat from a local shelter, and we firmly believe that if it wasn't for the excellent care given by Dr. Giri, our furry little guy wouldn't be with us today!
