EmailThe YWCA helps families leave abusive households and start new lives thru a 24-hour crisis line, 51-bed emergency shelter, transitional housing and support groups. We provide GED education to women and men at three convenient locations. We also provide a Family Literacy Center at two locations. The YWCA operates the Girls Inc. program in several Nashville schools, inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold. The YWCA exists to educate, encourage and break down barriers that perpetuate racism, violence and hopelessness. All services are free.
