We hired Walt to do an overhaul of plumbing at our townhome. Prior to beginning, we walked through the property with Walt and pointed out all access points, including panels open to shower plumbing, attic access, etc. After walk thru Walt quoted us one price to repair all the plumbing and in his words "bring everything up to code." Partway through the job Walt began raising the price of his original quote. By the end of the job he had increased the price by $700, requested payment in cash, and refused to provide a receipt. Shortly after the job was completed, we noticed black water coming out of the shower faucets. It took 3 phone calls from 2 different phones to get Walt to respond. When he did, he refused to come fix the problem, which he noted was likely due to an improper iron fitting that he had not replaced. We had to hire another plumber to finish the job and ended up spending several hundred more dollars to fix. I would NOT recommend this plumber to anyone.
