Wow! It looks like I was the fool for not reading these reviews. Totally rude, totally overpriced, and total liars when it comes to billing.

Extremely expensive even with insurance. And yes, the affordable eyewear selection does stink! Because of that, I decided to use my own frame. Thank God I did. Otherwise my eyeglasses would have easily cost $1000+ (bifocals) NOT including the exam which insurance covered!!! Back home in PA my bifocals cost a hair over $500 including new frames. The absolute worst part is that the glasses purchased here weren't right the first or 2nd time. I am still wearing glasses from 7 or 8 years ago......

Rude and misleading staff showed no empathy. I called in and spoke to a receptionist about problems I've been having with my eyes, my eyeglasses I informed her I purchased from a different eye doctor (my original eye doctor was closed), and I live 40 miles outside of town. I was told that would be no problem, to bring my eyeglasses in, and someone would check them as a courtesy. I was directed to the store however upon arrival an optometrist took me to a back corner and blatantly told me he will not even look at my glasses! He waved his hands in my face, walked away, and made no eye contact. VERY RUDE! Management called me back but seemed only eager on further telling me why I was wrong than any sort of apologetic manner. Vision Care Associates has lost all future business I was planning!

Traci, we are very sorry that you had an unsatisfactory visit. We work with most insurance plans and would love another chance to fit your girls with some fabulous frames.

If you don't have high end insurance, this is not the place for you! My 2 girls went in early so they could pick out some new frames, they were told which selection they could choose from, found awesome ones they loved, then had their appointments. After their appts were told to wait one minute, a gentlemen called over the girls and proceeded to tell us the girls were only able to pick frames from a small tray of very ugly frames. My girls were heartbroken. I would not recommend this place to anyone!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
