This is the worst phone call I ever made. The guy literally insulted me, saying I knew nothing about ice machines and how to ask the right questions. Then he told me to call another place.
All I had asked was do you give free estimates? and all he could have said was no. But instead he blabbered about me calling another place and asking me if i had never made a call before for a ice machine service repair. Im 20 yrs old, i have my own business and the ice machine was a new machine. First time it broke. Any other places I called they politely told me that free estimates weren't available.
The person's name that had answered the phone was "forest."
I regret John22092 was disappointed in my customer service response. As the owner of Virginia Commercial Services my goal is for every caller to feel as if they have been treated with respect. When a service call comes in, we ask questions to determine the nature of the customer’s issue, often we can resolve the issue over the phone (at no charge), or if a service call is necessary, the information gives the responding technician advance notice on what he can expect to find when he arrives on the job. As the person who responded to John22092’s call, I take responsibility for any ruffled feathers on his part, I can only say: “I’m sorry” and I had no intention to offend in any way.
