This company is deceptive! They waste your time and don't reveal any fees upfront. I asked on the phone an estimate of the fees involved and I was told they are reasonable. The amount of the current loan payoff and the amount of the new loan were different by $23K. Do not work with them or get a VA loan unless you’re disabled. The government penalizes the Veterans who did the service and do not claim disabilities. If this is your first time using the loan you'll pay a VA funding fee anywhere between 2.15% to 1.25% of the loan depending on if you are putting money down or not. On top of the VA fee you’ll pay a loan origination fee from the lender which is 1% up to $3K. With a commercial loan you’ll get a better rate and pay less fees.

Veterans United covers all the bases...they are the complete package. From financing to realtor assistance to coordinating all the possibilities VUHL does it all. They work hard to provide access to VA financing to the veteran seeking the American Dream of home ownership. My loan specialist, Winsor Cooper, quickly followed up and presented each document. He was there with me at the closing and even followed up after that. I now consider him a friend. Veterans United specializes in VA home loans for veterans, and we are forever grateful for the service that they provided us. Purchasing a home is typically a very stressful experience and our processor, Sam Sexaur, was top-notch. Sam explained every step of the process and worked with us from the very beginning to get the mortgage that we needed at a great rate. Even with our less-than-perfect credit Sam was open and honest with the explanations of the items we needed to provide the mortgage underwriters without being the least bit judgemental of our situation.

Veternas United is the place to go if you plan to use your VA loan entitlement. They only do VA loans, and there expertise in this type of loan processing is top notch. My wife and I were going through the underwriting process with a different lender, and actually got declined due to a credit inaccuracy. We were both upset, and about to throw in the towel when a friend recommended VU. They qyickly took over my application, got me to underwriting, and closed my loan very quickly and efficiently. VU saved the day! We have been in our new home for a week now, and my wife and 2 year old daughter couldn't be happier. Dont waste yuor time and energy seeking another VA lender, Veteran's United is the obvious choice.
