I worked with Jeff from Trautman Arbor Care and could not be happier with the service he provided. Jeff came into a volatile situation between myself and my neighbor and was able to guide us to a mutually agreeable resolution. He was both professional and down to earth when providing us with guidance and advice. I would use them again in the future!

Mr. Trautman removed a large tree that had fallen on my house, but one of his employees had cut through my cable and 2 cleanouts (approximately 5 feet from my house) while digging the tree stump and roots. Mr. Trautman and his men tried to do the cable and repairs to my cleanouts, without consent from me, and without a permit from the University Area Joint Authority. He did not have an inspection done by them either, and a few days later I had a sewage problem in my house, which had cost me approximately 2388.53 to repair and get cleaned up. Mr. Trautman refuses to accept liability, stating that my cleanouts should have been above ground. The University Area Joint Authority said that there is no law that cleanouts should be above ground, and that Mr. Trautman should have gotten a permit from them, which would have required a follow-up inspection from them. Although Mr. Trautman had initially filed a claim for his error, I had to get the Insurance Commission involved since his insurance company would not return my calls. The Insurance Commission eventually sent me a letter stating, "Trautman Arbor Care has adamantly requested that his insurance carrier deny this claim." due to the cleanouts being below ground. I have filed paperwork to take him to small claims court.
