Top Hat Chimney Sweeps is a great family run company. In fact, they feel like family when they are in my house. They are very professional in what they do and informative when I have questions. Steve, Kathy and Zeb are good people, it shows, the minute you meet them and in the quality, of the work they do. Believe it!

They are Great!!! Showed up when they said they would be here. He answered my questions and explained what he would be doing. Before he started, he put down tarps to protect my floor and carpeting. And when he went on the roof to clean the chimney, he covered the vacuum inside my house. Everything was as clean when he left as when he came in. Very through, I am very satisfied and will be using them in the future.

Quickly diagnosed a problem with a smoking chimney and made recommendations for solving the problem. Received an email reminder the day before the appointment and also a follow-up summary of what we discussed afterward.

Top Hat has installed and maintained al our flues and stoves for over 25 years. Simply the best at what they do. Great professional service and great friends over all this time.

Leave the house clean you cannot even tell they have been here except for the clean chimney and wood stove that are ready for another winter. It doesn't get much better than this. This is the best and most professional service available in northern Indiana. This family does a fabulous job of taking care of your chimney. Before Top Hat started taking care of our chimney we had a chimney fire and that was really scary. I wouldn't consider going through a burn season without them cleaning and inspecting our chimney. Twenty years ago they installed a stainless steel liner in our chimney and about 6 years ago they poured a new crown and did some mortar repair. They do it all to keep the home fires burning. If they tell you it need to be done...believe them they really know their business. Always on time, no mess, and they cover your carpet before any equipment comes though the door. We're really glad that we called Top Hat to evaluate our chimney that we had neglected for far too long. One flue was capped with a stainless steel cap to keep out the squirrels, and we discovered that our original 1949 firebox was too rusted to be used safely. Top Hat will be addressing that issue with a new wood-burning insert and a stainless steel chimney liner. We're looking forward to a long relationship with them as they continue the regular preventative maintenance on the system that they install for us.
