I gave them a call about getting a tree stump removed and two trees trimmed up in the front yard. When Shane came out to the property to assess the work he informed me one of our trees in the front was actually dead - it had been hit by lightning and had a huge black mark on on one half of the tree. They quoted taking down that tree, trimming the other tree, removing all the branches/wood, grinding that stump and two others in the back of the house. Their quote seemed very fair - I didn't bother to get a competitive quote because I was anticipating a higher cost and liked the fact they employed veterans. Shane told me they were pretty busy and couldn't do the work until the following week, which was perfectly fine with me. They scheduled a time with me a few days later and showed up to do the work today, and on time. They were only around for maybe 3 hours, but in that time their team of 5 took down the tree, trimmed up the other tree, chipped all the branches and hauled away the wood. One of the neighbors was intrigued - I saw a few of them come out to see what was going on. Maybe they were just jotting down the phone number on their vehicles? I'm not sure how other companies take down trees, but I wanted to mention in this review that they were very careful about not dropping huge sections at a time or letting anything come close to the house. I didn't see as much of the trimming work, but I know they did a good job since our neighbor had his car under part of the tree and wasn't home to move it - they didn't drop a branch, let alone a twig, anywhere near his vehicle. The price was also the same after the work was done as it was when quoted - no tricks, gimmicks, overages, etc. Would definitely recommend again - very good work. I'd also like to mention that two of their people, Shane who quoted out the work and another guy who was helping with the work in the front yard, took the time to let me know what type of cutting they were doing, how long they have been doing this, information about the equipment they use, what type of trees I had, etc. They were very friendly. (note: first time homeowner and this was the least stressful job I've contracted out so far - very appreciative of their work)

I called several tree services from phone book and online searches and The Veteran responded first !!! Gave me an estimate on a few big Maples I wanted removed and took them up on there offer. They didn't do the work through the holidays to give there workers time off but, I did get some other estimates during the wait and they were still the most reasonable "smile". There tree removal went smoothly and did no damage. The stump grinding was deep and no exposed roots left. I had other tree services that did work for me in the past and have too say I highly recommend them over the rest. It also was also great that they had Veteran's who served in the Gulf War and was happy to support our soldiers. So, if your in need of a tree service or stump grinding please give these guys a call.

Tony, was so professional and nice while removing our two stumps from my back yard. The price was great and he even took the time to dig two new holes for trees I had ordered from a local nursery at a very reasonable rate. I had no idea they would even do that. Cost very little extra in my opinion and saved me a ton of digging, sweating, and back pain.

The Veteran crew came over to trim all my trees and they look great I highly recommend them to anyone thank you for service!

The Veteran crew came out and took down a damaged tree that was hanging over my house and did some trimming and stump removal. They were very professional, no damage and fast. Gave me a very good deal on the work and It was very exciting to watch them climb that tree. I highly recommend them and thank you The Veteran for your service in the Gulf War and on our trees

The Veteran Tree & Stump Removal did a terrific job removing two unsightly stumps in our yard. Not only was the response time fast (the same day as our call), but also carefully, neatly and efficiently done.

Tony worked with us to get our 14 trees down, including two that were over 50 feet tall and close to our house. His tree climbers did an excellent job of ensuring that the trees nor the big branches even came close to our house as they brought them down. He kept to his estimate and we are pleased with the job that was done.

Tony did a great job. The stumps were ground well below the surface and the hole was re-filled with dirt. The chips were completely cleaned up. Highly recommended!
