Sy, the owner calls you back immediately when he wants your business, but when there is a problem he does not call you back right away. You have to call him several times before he call you. I have tried for almost 3 months to get him to fix my mother’s exterior door that his crews installed wrong. He keeps telling me he will send someone named George to come and fix this issue. The door was installed in Dec '16 and as of today the issue still has not been resolved. 2nd issue is Sy will not give you and itemized bill even after numerous request. I am told by Sy that he is not a plumber and he in 38 years has never given an itemized bill. I need this so I can take the exterior doors, interior doors and windows off on my taxes. He tells me the same thing each time I call. So right upfront you might want to get an itemized bill from him, not just a lumped amount for each of these item that he puts on your contract. He tells me that I cannot take these item off of my taxes anyway so I do not need an itemized bill. I have reported him to the Attorney General's office. I am not saying that the work that was done at my home was bad because it was not, the crew did an excellent job. But I cannot give him more than 1 star on how he has avoided giving me a bill and the issues at my parents’ house that I paid him to install exterior doors and windows.

I made several calls to him about the doors that were installed at my parents’ home and it took 2 months before he would get me the things I needed for the doors, but he still has not fixed 1 issue my parent back exterior door does not close properly and they crew only put 1 screw to hold the door in the door jam. I have pointed this out to Sy the owner on several calls to get his problem resolved and he after 3 months still has not corrected this problem. So buyer beware, get an itemized bill upfront and do not pay until everything is up to your specification.
