Swat Took two days to do a job that we were quoted a half a day to complete. The company drilled multiple 4 1/2 inch diameter holes in our ceiling in our garage because they cannot measure. The installer decided he was in over his head and opted to leave early. The installer promised me I would get a discount or an upgraded radon fan. The next day a different technician arrived and spent another six hours. When the second tech was ready to leave I asked if he was going to fix the holes in my ceiling. He called his boss. His boss told him to go to Home Depot and they did a shoddy repair job. They have not come out to complete the work. We were promised a discount and we never received it. They are not coming out to fix it.

Swat Radon Mitigation. Is not a good company. Do not use this company. I still have damages by their techs. They will not fix the holes in the ceiling due to them not knowing how to measure. Yes I've called them numerous time to fix it. They promised me discounts. Never got it.

The next day a different tech arrived and spent another six hours at my house. When the second tech was ready to leave I asked him about the mess and the holes in my garage ceiling. The tech got on the phone with his boss and ran to Home Depot and performed the worst drywall repair job.

To this day they have not finished.

To this day they were paid 100% and we still have damages. After numerous conversations and promises that were never kept. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called SWAT and got a price for a radon air mitigation system.

On the day they came out to install it they also did an assessment of the plumbing to install a radon water system as well. After completion of the air system, which by the way does NOT remove all the radon in the air in case you are wondering, the installer told me "no problem on the water system, we can do it next week".

Great, so they ship me this huge plumbing system thing that is going to be installed and will be the unit used to remove the radon. This giant thing goes in my garage. So, the next week rolls around and the same installer who did the air, the same installer who said "no problem" to putting in the water system comes out to us, walks up to the plumbing and says "this can't be done, you need to hire a plumber and then I can do it". Really??? the same guy told me last week after being in my home , after looking right at the situation.? Of course they tried to tell me they would do the plumbing later, at a price of course. So I called them up and said I would find someone else to do the job. I told them to come and get their equipment out of my garage. This took over two weeks to come pick up. So, I got an air system that doesn't completely remove radon, even though the salesman told me it would, and then the water situation. Not a great company. Oh, and when I called them about the air levels they tell you "we never said that we could remove it all, we just lower it". This is false, the salesman told me it would be removed. The promise you something on the phone, then after you don't get the results you want, they back pedal and say "we never promised that". Sleazy.

Initial review is very positive and professional, system installed quickly and efficiently. After installation service needs improvement. I had to request a test kit and it was mailed in a plain brown envelope with return information hand written and no letter or instruction just a kit enclosed, surprising me because of the lack of professionalism that I had seen prior to installation. Also, I requested a copy of the warranty the day of installation and again by email after installation and have yet to receive it!

Great performance, would hire again, dedicated people. Paul was excellent on the install side, answered all my questions. Eric was of great help as we were up against a short time line to close on a house.

I had a great experience with SWAT Environmental. I would recommend the company and its services to anyone who might need a radon mitigation system. Thank you!
