Dropped the car off, gave the keys to the office gal who said she would call with an update. Had I been told there was any fees for this I would have called the guy loaning me the money to pay for it. Office girl called later and said I would have to pay $60 because they had to take apart and do work in the engine to find the problem. I talked to a mecahnic next and he said $170 some dollars. I said thats different from what she said and just thought she made a mistake. I said I would pick the car back up. Went to pick up the car and I had to pay $65 for them to look at it. I was NEVER told by this girl or anyone else there about a fee just to look at it when I dropped it off but that there would be a fee for them to start digging into the engine which I did not approve. That is why I picked the car up.
Nothing like losing the house food money for the week. I am a single mom. I will not go back there just because of the dishonesty. The gal from the office said in front of the mechanic she told me when I dropped it off. She lied. She did not tell me until the phone call later and then said it was to dig into the engine which I said no to.
