Bob was on time, courteous, and had a written appraisal done and turned in early. no problems.... Very Happy

I have done alot of work in my time with many different appraisers and this appraiser Bob Sprenkel and Sprenkel Appraisal Company is by far THE WORST APPRAISAL company that i have ever worked with. The service with this guy and his wife is absolutely horrible. He gives you a hard time about having to make some corrections on the appraisal that was conditioned by the lender that was missing in the first place. After paying the extra $100 for him to go back out to take better pictures of the patio on top of the $375 for an unfinished appraisal, he confirmed a 11:30am to 1:00pm time frame. I confirm this with my client who has just come out of the hospital a couple days before. My client waits all day at home and the appraiser never shows. I get a call at 1:30 from my client asking about the appraisal appointment. I call the appraiser and he says "oh.. there must have been a miscommunication, i said 11:00 to 12:00. I asked " well, how come he didn't call me, the client, my office, or anyone for that matter." no answer.. All he could say was let me check my scedule for the next couple of days and get back to you. I tried to call back after 30min and he stops answering my calls. I have my office give him a call and he doesn't pick up. Now i'm stuck without my finished appraisal and my lock expires. I swear, if anyone is reading this.. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE!!! If you wan't to pay $375 for nothing but a headache, be my guest. I've learned my lesson. This experience is so bad, i won't even rate it 1 star!!! He deserves nothing but to be hit by car. I hate to wish bad things on someone but i hope he goes out of business soon so no one else has to deal with this.
