Southern Oregon Dental Assistant Education is a private career school licensed by the Oregon Department of Education. SODAE provides essential education in dental assisting and expanded functions. Classes include: Dental Assisting I (begins June of each year), Dental Assisting II (begins August of each year), Dental Radiology (begins October of each year), Preparation for the Oregon Basic Exam (begins January of each year), Expanded Functions and Sealant Placement (begins March of each year). Classes are held evenings and weekends allowing the student to continue to work while attending classes. Lectures are held at The Smullin Center at RVMC and labs in a local dental office.
