These guys installed the HVAC unit in our new house. Had to wait several days for service when run capacitor failed after 2 years. Charged $139 for a Made in China Supco capacitor you can buy in Amazon for $10. Capacitor failed after 80 days of service. Had to call another company, they never returned my call.

We recently had our A/C system completely replaced by Southern Mechanical. The job was done on time and at the quoted price. All of their employees were extremely polite and very professional. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing a complete re-work or needing a service company (we have had a service contract with them for the past three years.)

This company quoted me a price of $99 on the phone stating that was for the diagnostic and the first hour of work, any work that was to be performed after the first hour would be an additional $95/hr. I agreed to this price. So the technician came to my house, discovered the problem immediately, and had my A/C unit working again in 15min. I was prepared to pay him $99, but he said that the price would be $195. I was appalled!! I asked the tech how could that be and he said.. The $99 is just the diagnostic, the $95 is for my first hour of work. I said I thought your diagnostic included the first hour of work. He said no, they're two separate quotes. So I ended up paying over $200 for 15min worth of work with this company (they charged me 3% extra for using a credit card). Now they could say that there was a miscommunication on my part, but I think they worded it just right over phone so that I would agree to the service appointment. Then pulled the old bait and switch when they got to my house. These people are con artist, if I were you I would use a different company.
