I was referred to MasterGlass windshield and auto glass by a friend of mine who owns a car wash and detail business. Service was great from start to finish. Chris took my car info to fix the front window, and in just a couple of minutes I had an appointment set. Technician came out and installed my windshield with no problem, was very professional, the new windshield looks great and the work is guaranteed. The price was just right too!

Poor Quality and an Oversell to make it worse

We needed a simple crack filled. It is something that many companies do these days and we have had it done a couple of times. We wanted it done right away and called MasterGlass. They have a nice website and could accommodate our time frame.

When the technician showed up, he insisted we needed an entire new windshield and would not guarantee his work. Eventuality I had been told twice on the phone they always guarantee their work. They were rude and kept saying how the windshield will just get worse and they will not guarantee the work they did. BAIT and SWITCH is all I have to say!

Our company does offer a lifetime gaurantee on repairs for as long as you own your vehicle. We would never try to upsell a windshield on someone if the glass is repairable. We are here to save you the cost on replacing the glass. Unfortunatly, in this particular case the windshield was not repairable. <BR> In some cases a windshield might not be repairable due to the location, or size of the damage. We have a success rate of over 99% on repairable windshields. We are also part of the BBB and participate with major insurance companies. Truly the worst customer service experience ever

Called on a Tuesday to get a quote to replace drivers door window on 2011 Sienna. I was quoted $279. I called back on Wednesday to schedule and was told price was now $349. Went ahead and scheduled for Friday but nobody showed up. Called and was told they couldn't get the glass until next week and price was now $409 but would definitely be done next Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and nobody showed. Wednesday morning they call and say they'll be there in 5 minutes - an hour later they show up install the window and charge $439. Never will I go near this place again! Be warned.

Even though they couldnt help me with my moonroof replacement, they took the time to search and try to find another company who could. THAT IS A TRUE CUSTOMER FIRST COMPANY. damn it!!! whole day of waiting i should be fishing by now!!

well, am the installer and sale in different company. sometime that person that sold the job should be responible for that action and made the phone called to CSR and the installer. Well. it sound like your not important, am sorry. I was a auto glass sale person for many year i committed to my customer and make sure they get what they wanted and same day too. I take all action even though am very high demand busy, Customer always come FIRST!!!!

Bad Customer Service

Very very bad customer service! Heres my story. So I call them up Monday morning at 8am so they can fix my 09' civic rear windshield. They told me what I would pay and what time the installer would be here so I said yes. They said the guy would be here from 10am-1pm sameday. Okay, so I waited, waited, and waited and it was 12:30. I was like whats taking so long? So I call them em to ask why hasnt the guy here yet? They gave the guy a call and they told me he will be there at 1pm. So I waited, waited, and waited looking out the window see if hes here and it was 2:45. So I gave them another call and they called the guy again. He said he culdnt find the address nor my car. So I told why didnt he call me like you guys said he would? They said he must of called a wrong #? So I asked is it gonna get installed yes or no? She replied with he's at another town an hour away now. She said let me give you a call in 5 minutes. Guess what she never called back! Bad customer service! They should of at least called me and said we cant find your address or we are not gonna be able to repair your windshield instead of wasting my whole day waiting for them. When I could have had someone else fix it! Dissapointed! Saving your valuable time and money! So find someone else to invest your money with!

Awesome Service!

Made a call to their office and told them I needed a windshield replacement for my Honda Accord. Matthew answered and provided me an immediate quote for it. I was satisfied with the cost and asked them to proceed. Matthew had someone out in the field already and was able to accommodate me the same day between 2-5pm. Their office called to notify me there was someone on the way. The guy out in the field (Chris) also called me to let me know he was 30 minutes away. Chris arrived and went to work on my car right away. It took him about half an hour to complete it. He was a very personable person...really cool guy! GREAT SERVICE from the initial call to the completion of the task! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Best Auto Repair Experience We've Had

When my wife told me she had a crack in her windshield, I figured,"here we go again - another chance for an automotive repair shop to up-sell me on something I don't need." Boy , was I wrong.



After calling 4 or 5 windshield repair places in San Diego, I was amazed at the professionalism, speed and courtesy that MasterGlass showed in taking my call. Within 5 minutes, I had an appointment for the next morning at 9am at my house and, better yet, the salesperson convinced me that I would only need a repair ($69) vs a replacement for $250+. Better yet, the technician called my wife 30 minutes before the appointment (just like he said he would) to confirm. She told him that it would work better for her if he met her in the local school parking lot - so that's what he did. Unbeievable service. The tech was done in 20 minutes and my wife still says that it was the best service by an auto-related company that she has ever had.

So Far, Great

I just called and got a LIVE representative in two rings. In a matter of a few sentences she set me up with a competitive price (extremely competitive) and she was very upbeat and reassuring. My appointment is within the next few days (my choice). I will relate back on the windshield replacement but for starters, I am very impressed. She also told me they accept ALL forms of payment which is nice.

Not for FJ Cruisers

Good costumer service but not good techs for FJ cruisers, they claim that the have done hundreds of FJ cruisers. the tech that did mine left 2 dents on my roof in the process of changing them. The tech also claims he's done hundreds, and denied that he made the dents.



I called the office the day of repair and emailed a picture of my dents. He saw it and took notice that they are definitely dents. Next business day I called and told me they will call back.... waited the whole day and no phone call. Third business day, I called and they said in plain words "we believe we did not cause the dent"..



So FJ owners, heads up on this, make sure you take apicture of your Toy before getting it worked on..

We did install an FJ cruiser windshield and no we did not take responsibility for a dent on the vehicle. The customer told us that he had already had the windshield replaced once before by another company. According to the customer, the technician from the other company had great difficulty in getting the old glass removed from the vehicle and “was there for hours”. It is obvious to us that this company caused the dent. Before we started work on the vehicle the customer was in his office and would not meet us at the vehicle. So we could not have him sign the pre inspection form – listing the pre existing dent. That was our mistake. We are members of the BBB and we have a $2 million liability insurance policy. We do work for a number of dealerships including Toyota, Infiniti, Nissan, Volkswagon and Subaru. All work is covered under a lifetime guarantee and if we make any mistakes we correct them. Unfortunately there is always the customer that tries to abuse our goodwill with pre existing problems. Or is simply unaware of the pre existing condition. This is one of those times. We have worked on many FJ Cruisers and have successfully installed them many times at two Toyota dealerships. I had an 8 inch crack in my windshield and called MasterGlass this morning at 9am. I received a quote over the phone and set up an appointment for service that same day between 1pm-4pm at my work location. How convenient is that! The repairman showed up at 1:30pm. He was very polite, friendly, and knowledable. He explained everything to me. He repaired the windshield in 20 minutes! I received a paid invoice with the guarantee on it. I was very satisfied with this company. I highly recommend this company for windshield repair!
