I would like to expess my complete satisfaction with the work performed by San Diego Tree Care at my property in Scripps Ranch. I contacted them with regard to getting an estimate to clear the brush around the property in accordnce with the requirements of the City of San Diego. They responded immediately and provided a detailed and very reasonable estimate to clear the brush and also to prune some overgrown trees and palms in the yard. Having had experience with getting such work done in the past, I was able to assess their quotation as being very reasonable and hired them on the spot.



i was not disappointed, they arrived in a timely manner as promised, performed the required work and cleaned up afterwards, leaving the property in excellent condition.



I will most certainly use this company for future requirements and I enthusiastically recommend their services to anyone who is looking for a reputable company to provide this type of service.

During the recent wind storm (Jan 19, 2010) one of my large tree limbs fell on my house. The limb was bigger than a lot of full sized trees; about 45 feet long and 15 inches at the base. There was roof damage and water was coming in. I called 4 tree removal company's and only Clint from San Diego Tree Care answered his phone. Two of the other companies did return my call later in the day and the last one the next day; however, Clint answered and said that he could come immediately, within a few hours. I could not cover the damaged roof until the huge tree branch was removed.



Clint arrived as fast as the rain and accident slowed traffic permitted and began work right away. Immediately I was impressed by his professional behavior and safety concerns for himself, his crew and my house. Three hours later (remember, it was a BIG limb, it was dark and the wind/rain had continued) the limb was safely removed, cut up and shredded, the holes in the roof covered and my property cleaned up. Quite a performance for an "emergency" call.



Clint brought to my attention that the broken limb damaged the tree trunk, ripping out over a third of the trunk and that the tree was now dangerous (exactly what I was thinking, good to hear a Certified Arborist say it). The next day Clint returned with his large crew and they effortlessly removed the tree from in between my house and the neighbors. I said effortlessly, that is just how it looked to me, there were a lot of ropes, pulleys, a huge cherry picker boom truck and very close coordination between the members of the crew...professionals make the difficult and complex seem easy to the rest of us.



Two points need mentioning. First, when Clint's crew was traffic and weather delayed coming over for the emergency work on the 19th, they called twice to let me know where they were and the reason for the delay...that's customer care.



Second, during the tree removal on the 20th, one of my neighbors was driving by with her poor car trunk full of small limbs and green debris. She mistook Clint and his crew for city workers and asked if she could drop her trunk load of debris off with them. Clint just smiled and said sure, then personally loaded her debris into his shredder...you don't see that much any more. Kudos Clint!



Would I recommend San Diego Tree Care to my friends? Absolutely, as I will be using them for my own tree needs from now on.
