BEWARE of JOHN FLEMING and REAL DEAL HANDYMAN SERVICES!! THEY SCAMMED ME OUT OF $800.00!!!!

I originally found John Fleming on Craigslist while looking for a company who could lay brick pavers for me. John came right out and quoted me a price. I had to wait a few weeks before I could start the job as I wanted my deck complete first. When I called John back to come out and do the job, he told me the price would be higher due to more work than he thought. I was not happy, but agreed. He asked me for half down. I had just short of half down on me in green cash. We went over to Johns truck in the road and I gave him $800.00 cash. He emailed me a receipt from his company with an old address or a fake address, not sure. I know they are out of the Ann Arbor area. They stayed for a few hours prepping the area, than left and never returned!!!! Each time he was to return back out, he had one excuse after another excuse. He always sounded nice, but never returned, and won't answer my calls!!! He stole $800.00 cash from me!

My strong suggestion is do NOT do business with REAL DEAL HANDYMAN SERVICES, any other name they may go under or the owner JOHN FLEMING!

I'm John Fleming, owner and operator of Real Deal Handyman Services. The review below is from a disgruntled customer who will not be getting 800 of the 600 dollars he gave me back. He then called and asked for "1100, or whatever it was". He wanted me to do poor work because, "he "didn't care" he was "closing on the house as soon as it was done". My employee and I with our 300 dollar equipment rental graded the area and water came out from the post holes of his deck, and I explained he would have to wait until it dried out a little because it's clay and saturated. He wanted it done now! And I told him give it a week or so because the 18" wide 48" deep holes were full of water and when I was grading and backfilling, that water went everywhere. Please check the rest of his reviews if this doesn't make you feel better! Have a good day and we look forward to making your home beautiful!

Just spoke to John Fleming who apologized and said life has been tough lately and promised he would pay me back $800 in 1 month.

I'll update than.
