Project DOVE is a nonprofit organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, teen dating violence and stalking in Malheur County. The mission of the organization is to break the cycle of domestic and sexual violence in our community through awareness, prevention, and intervention Project Dove services include:Emergency shelter that can accommodate 10 families Emergency shelter is temporary refuge for victims and their family in immediate danger seeking safety Separate accommodations for male domestic violence victims Domestic violence classes for women with childcare provided during the class Kid Connection Group for children who have witnessed violence Domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy Safety planning Assistance in obtaining a restraining order and transportation to court Provide free notary service Restraining Order Drop Classes (as required by DAs office to drop restraining order before 6 months) Facilitate safe exchanges between custodial and non-custodial parents Bilingual services Transitional housing for shelter clients transitioning into permanent housing Provide clothing at no cost to people in need and local agencies 24 hour crisis line Our hotline is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, serving callers in English, Spanish, and other languages.
