We moved into our home in our home in 1987. The house was built in the 1950's. So with age have comes repairs and upkeep. Prichard Brothers have taken care of our needs for all that time. They were and are easy to do business with. I like doing DIY repairs and the people at Prichard's have always been helpful with advice and parts needed, and when I have gotten in over my head (no matter the time of day) they have been there to save me.
For many years my work took me out of town for days of the week, when my wife had any type of plumbing problems and needed help Mike, Gary & Jason always responded quickly. We just replaced our boiler and Mike researched and worked with us to find a tankless boiler. Works great - efficient - very quite.
EXCELLENT SREVICE - QUALITY WORK -REASONABLE PRICES

I would have never thought that I could describe having sewage back up in my basement as a pleasurable experience - but I can. The sewage part - no, but dealing with it - yes. I discovered the back up late on a Saturday night. I called Pritchard Brothers early on Sunday morning. I reached Mike, at home, and he patiently and expertly talked me down! He spent close to 30 minutes on the phone with me diagnosing the problem and helping me comfortably come to the decision to wait until Monday morning to have the plumbers come. He saved me a ton of money and really cared that I was ok with the situation. The crew showed up first thing Monday morning and got to work. They were fast, respectful, and professional. They cleared the line, cleaned up and went on their way. I spent the rest of the day cleaning up the aftermath (gross). The next morning my water softener started leaking water (lots of water) and I had to call Pritchard's again! They had someone at my house within the hour. He capped off the pipes and ordered a new water softener to be installed as soon as it came in. A week later, the sewage backed up again. Yes AGAIN! Pritchard Brothers to the rescue again!This time they used a camera to diagnose the problem and got it taken care of. As you can imagine, I was starting to think I would have to rethink being able to send my kids to college; all of my money was figuratively going "down the drain". Once again Mike came to the rescue. Mike walked me through a plan to cover the labor and parts that was more than fair. This could have been a nightmare situation, but it wasn't. I felt heard, supported, and secure that I wasn't being taken advantage of through every step in the process. Every Prichard Brother employee I worked with was professional, caring, and helped me maintain my sense of humor throughout. I will never even think to use anyone else for my plumbing/HVAC needs. I can't recommend this company enough!

I have lived in Boone for 13 years and Pritchard has always been there for me and many times above and beyond the regular scope of their job. Over the years, they have replaced my furnace, central air conditioning unit, my crushed sewer pipe. There quality of work has always been excellent. They answered all my questions and did all jobs in the time they told it would take. I had a leaky faucet that they fixed with no charge. Keep up the great work Pritchard Bros!!!

Great service...We worked with Pritchard's from the beginning to end of our newly constructed home and couldn't be happier with their fair pricing, customer service, expertise knowledge and willingness to go out of their way to work with the challenges of new construction. We would definitely recommend using them.

on feb 25th 2014 at 6pm my furnace stopped working after trouble shooting it was the exhaust fan blower i called pritchards after hours and talked to gary he said he would have to order the part and wouldnt be in until next day and i asked if the was anyone else in town that had parts for a rudd furnace he said no not a rudd dealer in boone so i called ames and des moines no luck so we froze with space heaters and kept oven on all night next day after not sleeping because it was so dang cold i went to another place in boone they sent me to Duncan plumbing and heating a rudd dealer in Boone i got the part.... I dont care what their beef is with duncan they dont care about customers at all and let me and my family freeze. I will NEVER go to or recommend pritchards to anyone I will drive to omaha or kansas city first........

The gas stove we 'had', quit working properly. It was replaced, (by me, the home owner), with an electric stove. Therefore, the gas line sticking through the kitchen floor is required to be "capped off". I, assumed that, after going to ALL the other businesses that would have an appropriate cap, that don't, Pritchard's, being among the better of the suppliers in Boone County, would have the required 'capping device'... not to be ... to which upon entering Pritchard's, I ask for a 15/16 inch(id) cap for a gas line that needs to be capped, customer service jackass number one, walks over to a display of fittings, picks up a 1/4 inch tee, and then says..."We don't have that"...........long pause........ummmm, SERIOUSLY !!! Never mind .... will go somewhere else with my money..............................!!!!!

We have kept our family home (95 yrs old) maintained with always good, reliable service from this Plumbing company. They have always been thorough and have done fantastic work. Their products have been available, or they have ordered whatever we have needed, and their service is very prompt. Thank you for helping us keep this home functioning properly.
