Do not use this company if you have a "Problem" with your A/C. Matt(Owners son) showed up and first thing he did was hook up a gauge to the outside unit, then called his dad (Darryl) to find out what to do. He told me that the problem was that I had to much Freon, and his dad told him to take some out. When I asked him how that could happen, when I haven't had anybody come out to service the unit in 2 years? His reply, "It happens". It never dawned on him that there was a problem causing the build up, or false reading. When taking my Freon didn't fix the problem, it forced him to look at additional problems. He finally found out I had a bad valve, and it would cost "about" $400.00. He also told me, that the $75.00 service call cost would be taken off the actual cost. He told me he would call 1st thing in the morning with the cost and lead time. By 1:30 when he didn't call, I had to call him. I proceeded to get the run around. I finally got a call from Darryl, He told me cost was $400.00, and "no" the service call is a separate entity and would not be included. However, he would give me $40 off the cost. Part would take a day or so to get. I never got a refund on the Freon they took out, and I had to add more in when my A/C actually got fixed by another company.
