This company has been in business for over 30 years, my husband and I had used their services for odd jobs around the house from time to time, and we had always been very favorably impressed and 100% satisfied. So, when we needed a new deck this summer (2017), knowing this company does decks and knowing the excellent quality of their work, we contacted the owner, Ed Oliver, for an estimate and hired him on the spot with complete confidence. We didn't even consider going with another company because we know P&E is the very best there is at what they do. Ed is what I call a master carpenter. He's also a perfectionist with a superior work ethic who requires the same of his employees. Ed and his crew will do the same quality job for your home as they would do for their own homes. In fact, some of the lumber for our deck didn't meet Ed's standards so he called the lumber company and had them deliver replacement lumber in under an hour. Ed and his crew show up on time, they work really hard, and they're easy to get along with. Ed will consult with you, keep you in the loop, and answer your questions and concerns patiently and knowledgeably. Our job consisted of chopping down a mulberry tree in the backyard that was hanging over the deck steps, tearing down and hauling away the existing deck and steps, and building a new deck and steps of Southern yellow pressure treated pine. The job was done to perfection and we couldn't be happier with it.
