The Phoenix campus opened in 1977, following interests expressed by local American Baptists who welcomed Ottawa University into an area where private, church-related educational institutions were rare. Additional campuses in the Valley of the Sun were opened in Tempe in 1989 and in Mesa in 2000. Arizona campuses emphasize flexible scheduling, frequent course start dates, and the delivery of educational resources at times and places accessible to adult learners. Our adult locations recognize that adult students bring self-motivation, life, work and prior college experience to the classroom. We recognize your desire to earn your degree in a timely manner that fits into your busy lifestyle so we've designed our programs specifically to meet the needs of adult students. We offer individual academic planning and advising. Your full-time faculty advisor will assist in planning your program from start to finish, allowing you the flexibility to earn your degree at your own pace. Eight week terms and four credit courses provide you with the opportunity to complete your bachelor's degree faster. Graduate-level classes are offered in 12-week formats. Evening, weekend, and online classes are available, making it convenient to earn your degree. Small class sizes provide you with personal attention from our faculty experts and the ability to network with classmates.
