Every tree or plant they sell will grow well here and be productive. The strawberries we bought are ever bearing. They make berries from June to frost. The apple trees get a full load on every year. The pear tree is the showiest tree in my yard and just grew it's first crop. The fruit trees I picked up in Anchorage all died. Now I only buy my trees at Northern Fruit Nursery.

I bought a pair of crab apple trees from this family farm three years ago. The owners are friendly and helpful. There are kids and dogs and a really nice atmosphere. With next to no attention at all, these trees are still doing great.

I'm going back this year to buy 20 4-ft trees to reforest a vandalized area for our non-profit, Alaskans For Palmer Hay Flats. NFG is coming out to make it a family affair and help me plant. That's the kind of folks they are .
