Hired Shaum and Son, INC to install a patio heater at my business. Site visit went great tech seemed very confident it could be done in a day. During the installation one of the electricians on the job was on his cellphone the majority of the install closing on his new house. Left the site multiple times. Job took three days to complete a simple heater install I could have done myself. At the close of the job I was billed for 22.5 hours of labor! Tried to resolve with Jeff Patton (owner of Shaum and son). He wasn't accommodating or understanding at all of the issue. So I paid him and informed him not to expect a call from me for future work. For installation of a 400W bromic heater I was billed and paid $1,769.89!



As a professional, I will not use this company again and I urge anyone considering using Shaum and Son, INC to first request a written estimate prior top allowing them to begin work. Otherwise you might be on the hook for someones closing costs on their new home
