Provided by YP.comThought he was a nice guy, but this turned out to be a huge disappointment for us. We were having the whole house renovated, and this was not a professional contractor. He was to paint all surfaces and take down wallpapered areas. Did not prepare walls adequately for paint. They are all uneven, splotchy and not smooth. He got paint all over mirrors, bathtubs, can lights and floor vents -- did not clean up, and it will take a lot of time to fix. Left 10 huge contractor bags full of paper/plastic trash in my living room for me to haul off to dump. Ditto on all the empty cans of paint -- left all his mess for us to remove (even lunch trash). Any rooms he did sand, he did not sweep up debris. There are huge piles of dust/debris everywhere. He may quote a good price and come off as a nice guy, but it's not worth it - the quality is just sub par. Very sloppy work with drip marks and crooked edging. Was supposed to come back and do touch ups, but cashed the last check we gave him and is missing in action.
This homeowner was unresponsive to phone calls. The house had numerous other contractors in at the same time. They were moving in at the same time construction was going on. We did extra work with out charging extra or asking for extra. The trash bags were mine. We most certainly remove our trash. The food bags could have been from any number of contractors. We are still here waiting for a phone call to return when needed. That call never came. Mrs homeowner placed post its where touch ups were needed. We touched up every one. The last day at the house I was told it looks good. She paid me that day. We are blind sided by this unfair review. Will return any time to do anything necessary to rectify the job.
