Matrix did an awesome job with our basement project. The contractors were great with communicating and keeping us in the loop. The final product is exactly what we wanted! Matrix did a great job to ensure we were happy with the final product and went out of way to ensure the project was done correctly.

Matrix was awesome!! Our basement looks great and they took away all our fears of having the work done. Rick and Jesus were great to work with. I highly recommend this company if your looking to finish your basement!! Very trustworthy, friendly and easy to work with!

Everyone was Professional and They did a wonderful Job. Everyone Loves our basement. Matrix followed through with everything that they promised us. thank all of you at Matrix basements!!!

The guys at Matrix estimated a 3-4 week timeframe to finish our basement. They were pretty much spot on, with the project lasting 4 weeks. Everyone we had dealt with were both professional and very friendly. Rodrigo and Antonio were onsite the entire process, and their craftsmanship was more than I expected. I kept throwing little things here and there (i.e. - last minute requests to make cut outs in the wall for in wall speakers, adding drywall to the ceiling so I can install in-ceiling speakers, and custom build a shelf for the center channel in my home theater...to name a few).

These guys grinded it out day in, and day out during the project. They handled last minute changes like pros, and were able to adjust on the fly. Ricky, the field manager, checked in from time to time to see how everything was going, and made sure we were happy with the build.

Needless to say, when they were done, our basement looked fantastic, and we were left incredibly happy with the end result!

Nick from Matrix and his compatriot David P. are asking people to ignore my legitimate experience and truthful review as "LakeLady." Indeed, they have gone so far as to call these issues "BS." Your response epitomises the very basis of my complaint about your customer service. Indeed, I have placed two work orders to date and have not received a response. I still have seams showing through the paint. Nick- I personally dealt with you and Robert during the construction, which was not performed to code and caused additional delays. I hope this rings some bells now. I am not a competitor and I have a life.

The process from start to finish was seamless. Brian W. (project manager) was awesome. His attention to detail and his vision really came to life at the end of the project. We give high praise to Victor and Daniel (carpenters) for all their hard work in our 18 week project. Not only was their work clean and impeccable, they were incredibly kind and respectful. The personnel assigned to our project were very accessible and kept us up to date every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company for your future basement project!

Primary focus prior to start of the basement project was timely completion and quality workmanship. Matrix Basement scores extremely high in both areas. The project was completed ahead of schedule and the quality of workmanship is excellent.

We hired Matrix to finish our basement. We researched the company and the product and found that it suited our requirements. They transformed our unfinished basement to a space that was a continuation of the rest of our house.

The project manager, Brian was great and the construction crew did an outstanding job. We are very happy with the end result.

We are very happy with the approximate 800sf of finished space in our basement. Brian offered great ideas during the design phase so that everything was thought through from the beginning. Matt, Mark, and Bill were great with the carpentry. Everyone loves our painted ceiling and crown molding....gives the space a modern feel. John, the electrician, worked hard to place everything exactly where we wanted it. All of the crew was very professional, clean, friendly, and ready to work. We had plumbing roughed in for a future bathroom and wet bar as well. We are very happy to have such a beautiful space in our basement.

We had a complicated project and Matrix was able to complete this. We are very happy with the project and i would recommend them.

We hired Matrix to finish half of our basement to serve as an extra media/entertainment hub in the house, as well as an additional gathering space for large groups of people. The process, start to finish, was great. Our lead carpenter, Don, was very attentive to our needs/wants, as well as to the details of the project. His team was prompt, respectful, hard working, and friendly. There are so many parts of the basement we love, from the open floor plan, to the quality products and craftsmanship, to the dry bar we added on a whim, at the last second (this didn't throw the team at all, they heard everything the we were hoping for, and made it into reality). I would highly recommend Matrix to friends and family, and in fact, already have several times over.

Matrix did excellent work. They were timely, easy to work with and we are thrilled with the results. We would highly recommend Matrix basement systems to anyone looking for a quality basement finish!

Our basement project was not basic and the work by Matrix was great. They did a nice job with the detail and if we had any questions during the project they quickly answered and worked with us to correct if there were changes needed.

We've waited a while after our basement project was completed to post this review. We did that in order to give a better assessment not only of Matrix's installment practices, but also to get a sense of the product once it's been lived in for a while.



We enlisted Matrix to undertake a sizeable and complex turnkey basement project a little over a year ago. the project entailed converting a semi-finished basement into a fully-finished basement complete with guest bedroom (with new egress window), entertainment room, recreation room, full bathroom, and kitchenette. Matrix supplied nearly everything for the project EXCEPT: shower and floor tile in bathroom; bathroom vanity and mirror; and closet and pantry shelving.



The work was very solid. The construction crew was courteous, tidy, and efficient, as were the handful of contractors.



No complaints about the quality of the components or the construction. This outfit really handles the details well.

The whole Matrix crew made it seem like our project was their only priority. The high level of communication allowed us to address any issues we had with our project right away and ultimately resulted in a great finished product. Highly recommend Matrix for finishing your basement.

The entire Matrix Team were great to work throughout they entire project. Jesus our crew leader really cared about his workmanship and frequently took time to keep us updated in regards to the progression of our project. I would recommend Matrix to anyone looking to finish their basement.

Matrix met all of our expectations from the design consultation to finalizing the project. Great workmanship and communication. Very happy with our basement.

I liked Brian's patience and willingness to listen to my ideas to come up with a design the I desired. Victor the crew leader was very professional and always kept me informed. Extremely satisfied beyond my expectations of the work that Victor and Daniel did. I don't have a favorite part of my basement because I love it all and its everything I wanted.

In need of a waterproof solution for our basement, we stopped at an open house in our neighborhood.



Long story short, Mike came the following weekend and gave us a reasonable plan to finish our basement and a quote within the two hour visit. His up-front approach to the process, the product and the pricing was refreshing. We discussed several alternatives to best suite our financial position and agreed to move forward.



We then met with our project manager, Brian and put the project in motion. Within weeks, Brian had scheduled his staff to begin and unlike many other contractors we have dealt with in the past, the crew was there every day until the project was complete. Peter was the lead on the construction crew. He was polite, courteous and cautious as the crew moved through the house to the basement. John did a masterful job with the trim.

Matrix completed the job in the time frame initially discussed and all involved were professional from start to finish.

I waited 6 months after completion of work to post this. I wanted to be sure that I did not have any outstanding concerns or issues after posting any review. Overall the basement installation was good. I think it is important (and this applies to any contractor) that as a homeowner you pay attention to detail. If something is not done correctly or is missing, you need to get right on it. We did have several cases where something wasn't right and we asked to have some work be redone. The project took a little longer than expected, mostly due to some days lost redoing some work or waiting for materials. As questions and issues came up I was able to work with the Project Manager and onsite workers. After the installation was complete, we had 2 instances that I needed addressing. Matrix arranged to have someone make the repairs in a timely manner. I am pleased that Matrix really does stand behind their work. If you are concerned with your long term investment in your basement, I would definitely recommend Matrix Basement Systems.
