Provided by YP.comMy experience with this company was only marginal. They are a nice couple. However, I'm still in my 30 day new sod period. Therefore, I don't know the final result of the work product. I voiced a lot of concerns about the processes used during the installation. He told me he had been landscaping for 25 years, so I hope things grow well. They replaced sod in my front yard, connected an irrigation meter to my existing system, and installed a few plants. The job took much longer than I expected. The sod is installed with gaps large enough for me to place my foot in. He says the sod will dissolve to make the gaps go away. I guess time will tell. He requested access to the sprinkler control everyday while working. I understood him to be checking to make sure the system provided proper coverage. However, when I called him after the final payment to look at an area that is turning brown, he wanted to know where I wanted him to leave the invoice. I thought I had already paid to ensure I had proper coverage. He said that wasn't included and he would need to bill me, if he came out to look at it.
If you want great landscaping, check out Four Seasons Landscaping. This company transformed my backyard into a beautiful place to enjoy for years to come in only 6 days. My front yard and back yard both needed total transformations. The front yard will need additional attention to bring it to the level of my back yard.
Update: March 10, 2012
All of the sod installed by this company has died. I will have to invest in having it all repalced again this year. The backyard still looks great. The flower beds will also need a lot of work. The spacing of the plants installed by this company has resulted in a disorganized and crowed mess.
Take my advice. Spend a little more and get quality work the first time. Or, you'll be spending more money the next season.
