AWFUL EXPERIENCE

First time I took the car, they estimated 7-10 days to fix it. However they delayed 7-10 times and it took almost 3 MONTHS!!!!!! AND IT'S STILL NO GOOD!. They are incompetent and very slow. Every time I called to figure out what's going on, they told me that they were going to call me, which did NOT HAPPEN at all. Total scumbags and the WORSE body shop in the WORLD!!!!!!.

TYPICAL MANN'S AUTO ATTITUDE

If you really like to find out about the wonderful attitude of the front office, all you need to do is to ask anyone who is or has been an employee, or anyone that has dealings with this delightful girl in the front office. scarey. i am really surprised that anyone even subjects themselves to such abuse.

i left livid at the woman behind the counter

so i call before christmas to see if i can get a copy of my invoice. eileen, the owner/receptionist, doesn't let me finish telling her what i need and says she can't help me now (3 days before christmas) and that i should call back the monday after christmas. fine. i'm not able to call her back then, so at my earliest convenience i call her back (jan. 4) and say i need my invoice and i need these three particular things on it (my name, that i paid for it, and that it was a police tow). i asked if that was something that could be done. yes, she says. ok, i was on my way out the door to go over by the shop anyway so i asked her if i could pick them up today, she says "i'll call you back." 'well, how long do you think it will take?' "i'll call you back." 'well, do you think you could tell me how long it will take?' "I'LL CALL YOU BACK!!" fine. three days go by with no phone call. so i call the shop back and a man named henry answers who was very nice and seemingly helpful. i was happy to talk to him because i figured the nasty woman i would not have to deal with today. i told him what i needed and he said he'd call me right back. ten minutes later, he called back. i told him a little more about what i needed and he said he'd call me back. three more hours go by and i still haven't received a phone call, so i call back. eileen answers the phone. not her again. i say, "this is so and so, i'm calling to see if..." i stop because she's cut me off. i say, "excuse me?" because i did not hear her BECAUSE I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF TALKING. she says, "your invoice is here on the counter waiting for you to pick it up," with a real snotty attitude, like i should know this already and i'm pestering her by calling. well i would have known IF SOMEONE WOULD HAVE CALLED ME BACK! so i say ok and hang up. while i was waiting until i could drive over there to pick up my invoice i became physically ill at the thought of having to deal with this woman face to face. i became very anxious and nauseous. so i finally go over there and walk in the door. she comes out from the back office, looks at me, says "here," and tosses, TOSSES, my invoice at me and walks away! so i start looking at the invoice expecting problems. and there were: not ONE of the three things i told her i needed on there were on the invoice. so i calmly and politely tell her (because i know she won't help me if i'm nasty right back) that i needed this, that and the other thing. she says, 'fine. cross out what's wrong and write what you need.' so i do and then wait for her. i say i want her to just look it over to make sure she can do this. she says that she can do it, everything except say it was a police tow. i ask why not and she says because it wasn't one, but it was and it's because of that exact reason that i'm here having to do all this. so she says she can't do it now because she's too busy (too busy playing with the puppy behind the counter) and i'll have to come back tomorrow to get it. i send my boyfriend because i can't deal with her anymore. when he got there, he waited for 20 minutes in plain view of her before she came out to help him. when he got there she STILL had not corrected the invoice. she told my boyfriend that she wanted to charge us for having to correct the invoice because it probably cost her more than what we paid for the car ($150) for the time she put into it (5 minutes tops) and that it was a waste of her time. i will never go to mann's again and i will tell everyone not to go there unless they're in search of the devil incarnate. I write this to save other innocent people the grief.

I believe you are the person who gave your boyfriend the use of your car. Then he broke down, and the car was then impounded for lack of a valid registration, by the New York State Police. Your boyfriend came back to the shop, with the car as he couldn't get a ride. I helped him get your car registered on line, to get it out of impound, and we put a used battery in it, at no charge, as he said that he had no money. He was going to college. I asked the people that worked here to help him out as he worked in one of the local businesses in the area, and he is a good kid. Which, we did. He left, but, it ended up being the alternator, and he broke down again. So, we towed the car back, and gave him a ride to meet a friend so that he could get home, later that day. I believe you live together. So, we called you the next day, as requested, and I gave you an amount to fix the car that was basically our cost, to help him out. Everyone here went out of their way to help him out. When you picked up your car I was not here. There is no Henry employed here, and has never been. When you asked for an invoice the first time,a month after you picked up your car, it had his name on it, as he was driving it when it came in. I apologize for having thought that it would be easier for you to make whatever changes on the invoice that you wanted. Whatever would make you happy, and handed you a pen. All it had on it was your name, address, vehicle information, and that it was towed - with an amount. You wanted "Police Tow" on there so that you could get reimbursed from AAA. I made the changes on the invoice as you requested, and left the copy on the counter for you to pick up, and told you that, when you called. I didn't say any of the things that you state, nor did I even know that you only paid 150.00 for your car. Since I wasn't there when your boyfriend and you picked up the car, I just let him know that I did the best I could to help him out, when he came in to pick up the invoice. He did not wait 20 minutes, I helped him when I saw him. I apologize for calling him your son, if that is in fact the reason for your comments. But, there was nothing complicated about any changes on your invoice. To change his name to yours, and add "Police Tow"? You expected problems, and it still isn't right? Nor did anyone here give you or your boyfriend a difficult time about anything. We bent over to help you out and got your car back to you the next day. I can't find anything true about your review, except that yes, I did get a beautiful little puppy for Christmas.
