I got an over the phone estimate and was informed it may vary. Their truck advertise a Havertown location. I mentioned I live in Philadephia, a few minutes from Havertown. I was informed they don't do business in Philadelphia.

Bill spent the day at our house hitting a punch list of items- all done wonderfully. Among many other things, he moved our laundry to the basement, vented the dryer, set up the plumbing, fixed some outlets, hung a chandelier, and fixed a slow draining tub. He returned my call promptly and arrived on time on the scheduled day. I highly recommend him.

Have you every tried to get a plumber and electrician to cooperate on a project? We were having some difficulties with that and last year I finally looked for someone who's a Master at both - and found Bill Gavin (aka Mainline PlumberMan). We've now had him come and do five projects and can only say good things about his skills, his responsiveness, his creative problem solving - and the fact that he calls back and shows up when he says he will. We've now got at least two more projects for him to do and know that they'll be done well and with a pride of workmanship. Thanks Bill!

When you decide to start a project it is often with the feeling of being a bit scared. Will the guy show up, will he cost a fortune, will he listen to my needs? Well, when Bill Gavin came to my home I knew right away that he is extremely skilled in his field. He was very polite, prompt and he left my home the way he found it. Moving into a new, old house can be a bit duanting especially when the house needs new electrical wiring, a new ac and several other repairs. I was referred to Bill Gavin by someone who had used him in the past (good sign). From the very beginning of our projects until the end, he was timely, trust-worthy, dependable. His estimates were always extrememly close to the actual cost of the repair. He's good about working with your budget by telling you what needs to be done now and what you can wait on. His work is impeccable and I highly recommend him.
