Even years after being diagnosed with ADHD, and being treated for it by my physician in Maine, I was DECLINED care by Dr. Schott.



After a brief battery of childish exams, essentially "yes/no" questions on a copied form that had certain answer areas shaded in gray, it was determined -by her- that I didn't have ADHD, but rather some "other" psychiatric issue which she FAILED to shed the slightest light on.



(I spent twelve years in college, changing my majors frequently. Reading? My eyes race across the sentences before I can absorb what I've read, need I go on?)



Between her & her associate, Dr Reece, they wanted to drag my care out for MORE weeks (I have been w/o my medication since August), and see MORE of their "associates". If this is not a "Make Work" situation, then what is? They are relatively new, and are tring to build their practice.



If you have copius amounts of time to waste (and capital), I would highly recommend them.



(I LOVE how, as you see them weekly -as they suggest- you get your vitals taken OVER your clothing & how they weigh you with your work boots ON.)
