L. A. Lobster Party’s owner/chef, John Safoyan, grew up in New England spending every summer of his childhood at his family's place on Cape Cod. It was here that he developed his great love of New England Seafood, particularly steamed Lobsters and steamed or fried clams. After graduating from U.C.L.A. in 1982, John remained in Los Angeles and began a long business career in the automotive industry. Now at this stage in his life, John has devoted himself to pursuing his life-long passion for great seafood by bringing the genuine New England style Lobster/clambake experience to Southern California.
