I am Alexandria Skinner, Esq., owner of Just Mediation, LLC. I am writing this review to explain how Elder Mediation helps people who are aging, people who are helping aged family members, or families who are torn over issues related to caregiving, estate planning, or probate matters. Elder Mediation is a type of family meeting which brings all parties to the table and makes sure everyone is heard, then helps families formulate concrete plans that everyone can agree on. Mediation doesn't just gloss over differences, it resolves them, and it does so in a way that helps prevent hurt feelings and damaged relationships. The basic mindset of mediation is that the causes of conflict are something parties can work together to find solutions for.
