We started using Just Cleaning in October 2012. The first cleaning was fantastic. We were very excited to start using a cleaning company and able to spend our weekend relaxing versus cleaning. However, things quickly went downhill. Our cat bowl that we have for 15 years disappeared. We called and was informed it was broken. They should have called us to inform us of that. Ok… accidents happen. Another visit… our decorative thermometer was shattered. Left on the counter with no note or call. Ok… Accidents happen. Another visit… the microwave finish was scrubbed off with a Brilo pad leaving a big circle on the microwave. No call- no note. Ok.. accidents happen. Our house is still getting clean and we are not wanting to go back to spending the weekend cleaning up. We have a few visits in between these bad ones with ok service… then my husband points out that those are the visits when we leave a tip (something NOT required). So the next visit with a tip… No accidents. Visits without… ACCIDENT. Coincidence?! Let’s test that theory. Another visit…. Giant chip in our living room lamp. $300 lamp. No call- no note. But ok… accidents happen. Another visit… a GIANT crack in our inch thick glass coffee table. That’s thick glass… how did that happen? A baseball bat? And the house is FULL of gas from the stove!!! Took several hours to air out the house. Accidents happen?? I am lucky I didn’t walk into the house smoking or that we didn’t plan a weekend trip (like we did the weekend before)… we would have come home to a dead cat. So accidents happen???!!



I called the office and asked for someone to call me to discuss this. No response. Called again. Finally, Luis, the Dallas Branch Manager returned my call. I expressed my frustration calmly and asked for something to be done about the coffee table. He said he would call me back the next morning by 11 am. No call. I called him again. No answer and no call back. Called again. No reply. Called the office and asked for them to have him call me. No reply. Called again. Received a text message that they were working on it. This is happening over several weeks. We are cancelling housekeeping service until this got resolved. Finally, I get tired of not having Luis not return my calls and I ask to talk his boss. Several days later, I get a call from his boss (the owner).We have a very calm conversion and I again express my frustration. He promises that he will make this right and will call me back. I NEVER heard back from him or Luis again. Sent them both text messages letting them know if I don’t hear back soon I will cancel service. Remember, that I have been cancelling service via text message and voice messages so they are getting my messages. Finally after over a month and a half of several calls and texts to them I cancelled my service. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life.



So, if you enjoy to pay for your household items to be broken and enjoy HORRID customer service then maybe Just Cleaning is for you! Or maybe accidents just happen?!?
