this business desevers a star rating of " - 5 " they do not stand behind what they tell you. My internet services almost tripled in cost when I dropped my phone service altho I specifically asked if the cost would be affected and I was specifically told it would not. Watch out if you do business with them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Their customer service/tech service is awful. The tech's make up lies about your TV so they can upgrade to another package. The don't check the wiring at your place to make sure it is working. The service techs are just LAZY. They say they are coming on a certain day & then mysteriously your appointment gets cancelled. You have stayed home for no reason (in my case 3 days of work). The supervisors in the customer service are just incompetent as the reps. They have no idea what anyone is doing or saying. All you get for your trouble is " Thank you for choosing insight. we value your business" Ha, that's a joke. The problem is they have a monopoly in the area. They suck! Too bad they don't have negative stars.

I think it is a holding cell for criminal activity. I have reason to believe that my house was burglarized based on service call from INSIGHT.

They will not give me the name of the technician at my house.



They NO LONGER provide paper trails with the name of the technicians. When I called, they only have record of 2 of my 4 house calls.

SCARY !! MOST OF THEIR TECHNICIANS ARE SELF CONTRACTORS AND ARE NOT INSIGHT EMPLOYEES !

If I could give Insight a negative star rating I certainly would!



A couple of weeks ago, a salesman came to our door and gave us his pitch. We decided we would see how much Insight would be versus ATT and DirecTv. We gave the salesman our info and social security numbers, and he came back with the estimate; at that time my husband and I decided we would STAY with ATT and DirecTv.



This afternoon someone showed up at my door to install cable that we did NOT order. I explained to the gentleman the we did NOT o.k the installation of Insight. He was very helpful and understanding, called dispatch immediately and had the work order canceled.



After the installation man left, I called Insight to tell them and to make sure we were on a NO sales call list from here on out. As I got off the phone, I realized that what happened was about the same as identity theft. The salesman took our information that was supposed to be used for information only, and ordered a service we did NOT want and did NOT order. How sneaky and underhanded!



If I ever feel the need to switch from my current providers I will find anyone BUT Insight after this little incident.

Awful customer service

This is the worst company I've ever dealt with as far as customer service. I talked to about 8 people, got transferred about the same amount of times, and after an hour I'm finally ready to cancel my service. I can't deal with this every time I have an issue.

Insight needs technical help

I have cable, telephone and internet with Insight and all work well. But, for about the last 5 - 6 months, whenever I receive my bill, there is long distance charges on it for calls I am making to my daughter's local home phone which she has forwarded to her cell phone, Her cell phone # is the one she had when she was living in Rhode Island. She is in sales and needs to maintain that number. I call every month to let them know about the problem and then after talking with at least 2-3 people, I find out how much to subtract from the bill to include taxes and service fees. This seems to be a mystery as to why this continues to happen. I have a block on my phone so long distance calls can not be made. Every month a difference technician "looks into" the problem and says they have "fixed" it but then the next month, the same thing shows up on my bill and I start the process again. I think their services are way too expensive for the lack of customer service and technical help the consumer can expect from Insight.
